SAHIL CURRY DEN ...STRICTLY HALAAL

My first time ordering food at Sahil Curry Den, I was very disappointed in their customer service and food. I was not friendly greeted, and I had to buy frozen naan bread separately because they don't make naan. I paid R80 for lamb bones and R85 for something that was called butter chicken. The lamb was only bones, and the lady argued it's a stew with bones in, so that's what I get. The portion sizes are ridiculous for the money one has to pay. I was told the price is what it is and then was insulted because apparently, I don't know what food cost. Eventually, I asked for a refund when they half-heartedly wanted to give me boneless beef instead of lamb. While my refund money was handed to me, the man came out of the kitchen telling me he specially picked out meat without bones. I said no thank you, and he turned around and walked away with an attitude. They were completely unapologetic about their prices and food portions, blaming inflation and stating that the food was priced so high because it's Indian food. I really enjoy Indian food and it's a shame that this was the treatment I got for my first experience. I will definitely not be going back in the future—one of the rudest experiences at a restaurant, takeaway or otherwise.

Not a favourite joint for curry but I enjoyed their bunny chow. A little disappointed that it doesn't come with any complimentary sides. I am quite shocked at how the owners respond to customer feedback on this platform. I will definitely return to try out some of their other dishes, not a fan of their customer etiquette unfortunately (also based on my in store experience, extremely rude lady working at the counter)

Their Biryani dishes are simply to die for. The curry taste is exceptional and from all the curry food i have eaten is absolutely the best i have ever eaten by far. Their bunny chows is very tasty as well and again ... this is by far the best curry i have eaten in town, or shall i our closest area in the east...

Best and most affordable curry in Pretoria! Friendly staff and fun experience!(Get some samoosas for a starter)

First time buying butter chicken" and the last time buying anything there. Absolutely disgusting

wow...so nice food and Best Service and Friendly Staff..Butter Chicken was so amazing...mild that my kids can also eat...The staff also explained all the different foods to us..imnandi

Good traditional curries and their samosas are incredible! If you order over the phone you can often collect your food within 15 minutes. Large portions are enough to share with two persons.Take away is their only options as they are not on any of the delivery apps. Hopefully in the future??

Delicious, hygienic, fresh food. The Large" portion is huge & filling. Mild & hot dishes are available. Recommend the "chicken tikka Roti roll
