Spectacular views. Very friendly and helpful hosts and reasonably priced

So clean and beautiful views of Coffee Bay. Original photos on this site need to be updated as there is a whole new extension not included. Breakfast was lovely...R75 extra. Richard, the manager is fluent in English and well travelled. Easy conversation. He also makes African drums which he exports to Europe.

Really nice as a self catering accommodation. The people were nice. It is a difficult issue around access to food. They do do a very basic breakfast and limited dinner. It, I am told by locals, that it is the best in town for accommodation. The road to the place is almost impossible to travel on. The local government have not supported tourism as a far as access goes.

It's definitely a first choice for accommodation in the area. There are many other options, but this has everything you need and is budget friendly. Perfect for a stay over or a weekend.I do, however, recommend asking for a private or isolated room if you're planning on some quiet R & R.We had noisy neighbors who weren't quite keen on using their inside voices. Wouldn't normally bother us but went there to really get away and do nothing, get some rest and relaxation. Felt like I was part of the family call back home next door. I know all the family gossip and drama now.Niel was very accommodating and the facilities are as to be expected for that area. Good food (loved the breakfast) and true peace and quiet.The locals in the area are a bit of an issue, though. Don't recommend engaging in conversation or haggling with the vendors. Seems the notion was always an expectancy of compensation no matter the context. Asked for directions, was expected to pay R100 as one example (talking about traveling into the rural areas - nothing to do with the accommodation or the representatives there).All in all, a solid 8/10, in my opinion.If you're looking for something a bit more tasteful" or hotel oriented

Beautifull place and seaview. Hosts are so friendly and helpfull. We had fish for dinner and was an excellent meal. Can highly recomment it. Cant get a better seaview than there.
