Fleur De Lis Spa @ The Royal Hotel

had to call in 3 times before someone answered at 11:50am on the 5th of may, they took my booking and rushed me off the phone when i was asking about the free addon extras and using a birthday discount, when i arrived they had no record of my booking at 5pm, further the package i wanted stated free addons the lady at reception says the addons are only for Monday and Tuesday , then had to produce the email i received which doesn't say anything about it being restricted to Monday and Tuesday , after some time they agreed to see to us and after disputing the services in the package they gave in and did the treatment as it said in the mail i received and then they couldn't find my record on the computer that i had a birthday voucher which gave me 25% off any package , overall a frustrating experience considering it is a spa which should be making customers feel relaxed and its not the first time visiting this spa but could actually be my lastUPDATEso i had a prompt call from the manageress Pamela, who went back and checked phone records and camera footage and reprimanded the staff that was at fault, I am quite pleased with her level of service and I hope it filters down to the other staff members overall I'm pleased with the way my query was resolved

Late review: My sister and I booked the couple's massage, we were offered coffee and cake, unfortunately we had to share the cake and the coffee is ready made which was an inconvenience to me because of preference anyway... The spa looked so nice and was peaceful. Our masseuses were incredible so we thoroughly enjoyed massage with them

This place is amazing, I cannot wait to go back. It's clean, neat and so relaxing. Staff understands customer service to the best, they are lovely clean and polite.We were treated like queens me and my friend, they gave us a full attention. I'll see you soon. Keep up the good work

Massage was amazing. I even fell off to sleep for a few minutes. Hubby, as well. Booked the couples massage worth R500. Well worth it. Our ladies were amazing. The damp smell leading to the spa through the hotel reception was a bit strong, but once inside the spa, the smell dissappears.

One of the best Spa brands in KZN. Fleur-de-lis spa offers excellent treatment and service. Their staff is so friendly and attentive. They are an absolute must try at the Royal hotel.

It was our second time with the Fleur de Lis Spa, firstly it was at the coast land hotel for my birthday , now for our Anniversary the team at Royal Hotel also wowed us with their service. A five star to the Fleur De Lis Spa.

My daughter in law treated me to a massage at Fleur De Lis Spa for my birthday. We did the couples package which was so very worth it. There are a number of packages to choose from and you go with the one that you prefer. . They were so professional and have 3 different strengths which they ask your permission to use. I chose the hard as I sorely needed it. The foot treatment after the massage was awesome. There's a pool outside of the Spa where the children can swim as you have your massage. Make sure there's an adult present to watch them though. All in all an enjoyable experience and I can't wait to return. Next I'm opting for the hot stones in my treatment.

Once again my wife and I have been left very disappointed with your services.1. I initially complained about your marketing which didn't include a change in rates for mid week public holidays. Even though my wife had asked in advance about your pricing, staff advised that the special is still applicable. Only for us to be informed otherwise on the day at your Royol Hotel Spa. Please note, we don't have a problem paying for a service. Please check your records to see how often we have attended your Spa and not once had we complained.2. After we thought our issue was resolved, you suggested that I remove my review and I did. Because of our loyalty, you offered" to load a voucher discounting our next visit. This was never done. We are not asking for a discount. We are loyal paying customers. But yet again you cannot keep to your word.3. We decided to visit your Overport Spa. The set up you is lovely and spacious. But that as far the rave review goes. Despite arriving early we had to wait to be attended to. What was supposed to be a 2 hour spar treatment was actually 1h30 minutes. The massage body rub was extremely bad. I am not sure if your staff were tired after a long day or inadequately trained. To put it mildly
