Such a beautiful field within the university's space! Bordered by the M3 main road and Forest Hill complex, the field offers a quite and calm space suitable for sporting and related activities. Have seen the place invite big events with media and a lot of banners! A few seats but usually there is always some space to sit as one watches whatever is happening in the field. Also the field is perfectly situated for viewing from the Forest Hill complex (from students' balconies).

UCT hockey club has given plenty of people some great memories over the years. Thanks to all the great people who have worked for, or played for the club. What a great place to spend a few days a week, grab a drink or play some of the best haboolie around.
