To Graham including all staff at Paul's Gates, A Big Thank You for the work done. From the beginning to end it was professional, courteous and well done. We had our Gate, Garage Doors Serviced, New Garage Door Motors Installed as well as the old Carport taken down, new structure put up and our Electric Fence Energizer fixed. All was completed very satisfactory. We have no hesitation in recommending Paul's Gates to anyone in the future. If I could give it no stars, I would:Called Paul's Gates on Wednesday because the battery (on the gate they installed) had gone flat. This gate cannot close or open remotely without the battery.On Friday, the technician arrives -- to tell us that the needed battery isn't with them and must be outsourced because they, apparently, neither manufacture or store any spares. The quote will only be sent on Monday at the earliest because they have no idea how much it would cost. Need I go on, good people??

Wow!!!!! Well done to Paul's Gates and the team that came out to do the work and installations. I will recommend them to anyone. You have definitely changed the appearance of my property, and you have done so respectfully, even taking the time to show me the installation process and usage of the Centurion application on my phone.

This is the second time Paul's Gates have custom made me security gates that are not only secure but a stunning decorative feature of our home. Graham Salvado is the most patient man that will help you realise your vision. And my pooch Lex loves his doggy door :)

I have had two jobs done in the past few months with Pauls' Gates. The first one was done very professionally when I called them out to recable from my energiser to the electric fence.However, recently I received very unprofessional service when my gate motor was playing up. The technicians came out and on inspecting only the battery and replacing it & nothing else (not even the charger was checked) I was told to get an electrician - at MY COST - to check the voltage from my house to the gate as it was extremely high, reflecting a voltage of 350 v and I should also call City Council to come out and lower the voltage!! Much to my amazement, I decided to get my electrician out to verify this and he said the voltage was 238v. The company stated that they are not electricians!lf the voltage was 350 then all my appliances would have blown up!!I was also harassed for payment the next day after receiving an invoice plus 2 customer statements, all in the space of 3 days! In addition, I received a phone call asking when I was going to send proof of payment. But NOT ONCE did Pauls' Gates ask me if the gate was working and the job was a success!!Finally, I would like to add that my electrician decided to take all the components to the agents, namely Centurion, and get it tested. It was found that the charger and pc board had dry soldered connections which the Agents' technicians repaired without charge!!All I paid for was a new battery as the contact was lost as it was not being charged. My electrician replaced all components and re-installed to gate operator and the gate was successfully commissioned.Needless to say, when I emailed a report out to Pauls' Gates explaining the problems, there was no response. How disappointing to see a once- professional company showing absolutely no interest in their clients. I was actually informed by 'Graham' [through his sales lady], who apparently is the owner of Pauls' Gates, to tell her to get it fixed by another gate company"."

Paul's gates repaired one of the main gates to our home. It is a 3m x 2 m gate that had been driven into and bent. Graham came out to assess the gate. The next day I had a quote in my inbox. On acceptance and payment of the deposit a date was scheduled. They called in the morning to confirm they were coming through to collect the gate, collected the gate, provided a temporary gate and returned the gate the same day they collected it. Fantastic service from a fantastic team.

Came highly recommended from previous customer but won’t recommend them to anyone.Received a quote for installation of flat sheets on existing gate. 2 days after installation, gate wouldn’t close (this after having settled outstanding amount in full).Upon enquiry, was told that now wheels needs to be replaced and was quoted a further R8k for replacement thereof.Graham was meant to call to discuss my concern around why this was not included in my original quote ... I’m still waiting... btw, Graham was meant to have made contact a week earlier and never did.Energizer was “serviced” and upon return same problem persisted which was originally the issue... turns out battery was the problem, which at time of initial quote was told would not be the problem. Was then quoted on replacement battery (additional charge on top of original quote in order to replace battery).Complete rip off.From wanting to install simple flat sheets to now having to replace wheels which costs 80% of what the original quote was for installation of flat sheet.Guess 40 years of experience couldn’t identify the knock on effect of what extra weight on a gate would do to a wheels supporting the gate or that in servicing an energizer you might have to consider all components instead of just some.Utterly disappointed by what was meant to be a pleasant experience.Do yourself a favor a look elsewhere... you WILL find better value for money.

I gladly recommend Paul's Gates for welded steelworks. They have installed two security gates at my house and their work is great and of a very high quality. The finishes are well done. Their customer service is excellent.

Had 7 so-called other experts try to repair my gate and intercom system, and they couldn't get it to work properly. Pauls gates got it done the first time. Great work and support from all the staff. Highly recommended.
