Extraordinary traditional Italian food, with one of the best whisky collections in the city. But also tequila and other liquors. The owner is very involved and the place is so intimate and can be romantic.Please book in advance if your are planning to go from Thursday to Saturday.They have a board With the food of the day like if you were in the heart of Rome.I’m giving it 4 start because I had to ask 4 times for a glass of water which I find completely intolerable for a place with this prices.

If you have not been here yet, you’re seriously missing outYou may find yourself coming here to sample one of their delicious drams from a seemingly endless selection; but don’t be fooled, this is not a whisk(e)y bar - it’s a spectacular restaurant (and a whizzo lover’s paradise)I will stop in here every time I’m in Joburg, and I’m never ever disappointed

Who would have e thought that you can have breakfast at Bottega Cafe, your favorite whiskey restaurant! And a great breakfast at that. Went for breakfast a few times the last few weeks and people have still not discovered it as a great breakfast spot in 2023. Uncomplicated very good breakfast opposite the hardware.

I went for the whiskey :)Amazing options for bourbon. Best I have seen in SA. And lovely friendly service!(I got the three bottles in the front from them. The rest were from another era)

Had a wonderful Father's Day celebration here with Friends & Family!! ...**grin**.. Small but cozy & intimate ... and warm inside in a winters day!! Food was very tasty and portion sizes are large... even some of the starters can be main coarse dishes!! ...**grin**.. Desserts as well!! …**Big Tooth Smile**…
