I rented a road bike for delivery in Muizenberg and pickup at my hotel in CT, later the same day.Communication was easy and prompt through Whatsapp and drop-off and pickup was very punctual. The bike was in perfect working condition. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend Cape Town Cycle Hire!

Great service. Booked everything online and via email. Lez dropped off the bike and picked it up as arranged, lots of friendly advice on cycling in S. Africa and on routes. Nice bike, had a couple of really good days cycling Western Cape, totally recommend these guys - good, solid, reliable service.

Highly Recommend! We rented two Giant road racing bikes to cycle the Cape Town Cycle Tour. Communication with Axle was very smooth (via call and whatsapp) and the bikes were delivered and picked up from our accommodation in Seapoint free of charge. Axle described the route to us, which was very easy to follow. The bikes were in good condition and the carbon frames and Ultegra group set gave us exactly what we needed for all the climbs! We also got helmets, bidons, and extra inner tubes with the bikes. Many thanks for the amazing day!

I can thoroughly recommend this service. We managed to make all of the arrangements on line and Lez arrived smack on time for both the drop off, and the pick up, of the bikes at our apartment. There was a good selection of bike models and sizes and the two that we had were well maintained and everything operated smoothly. We took advantage of the option to also hire a strap on bike carrier for our hire car which was fitted for us. Lez also took the time to give us some great advice on the safest and most scenic routes around the Western Cape. Friends had already told us that there was fantastic cycling along the peninsula, Lez made sure that we agreed with them by providing the tools for the job.

Hired a road bike for 4 days, asked for an average groupset (Shimano 105) and I’ve got a bike as expected, in good working order, the indexing was perfect, rode around the peninsula with no issues. The delivery and pick up went smoothly, highly recommend for road bikes and not only.

Efficient and punctual service, picked up and dropped off at my hotel, solid dual suspension bike in good condition. I returned the bike a day early and the owner was kind enough to refund for that day. Will certainly use this service when I’m down in CT in future
