Biggy Best Cottages

Room was very clean and tastefully decorated. All necessary amenities were available. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty. Staff friendly and helpful.

One of the absolute best experiences! I made a reservation late at night and very last minute. The team were so welcoming to both myself and my dog. They even had the kindness to make me dinner long after the kitchen had closed. I cannot even begin to express how grateful I am! :)

The cottage was neat (pet and child friendly), staff extremely friendly. The atmosphere was great... We had an excellent stay... I strongly would recommend it

People working there are very good and friendly. But the condition of your beds, especially in that rondavel is not welcoming at all. if you can change those beds it will be better. Otherwise it s expensive for nothing. the springs on that bed are out, and very painful. please do something

Wow what a experience, I have been to many B& B's but never experienced the service that we received.We had to make use of their facility due to fallen trees on the N3 on the 30 December +- 20h00. The receptionist I don't recall her name but she was a blessing from above, all their rooms were booked and she went beyond her duties and phoned booked clients to confirm if they we're still coming until she got someone who canceled due to the bad storm. The kitchen was closed and due to my children that had not eaten yet they reopened the kitchen to make us what we wanted the kids wanted pizza and boy was the home made pizza from their kitchen something else. The morning we had the best breakfast that I ate in a long long time even my youngest daughter emptied her plate and she is a picky eater.From the bottom of my heart I want to thank all the staff at Biggy Best Cottages for their exceptional service and friendly ness

There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke when we arrived. This improved after the smoker left. Half of the rooms face onto the parking area, meaning that one’s sleep is disturbed by arriving and departing residents. The other half of the rooms face the wall, with large trees blocking any view. We were robbed on the last day of our two-week stay due to lack of security. Some guests were noisy and drunk day and night. Altogether not a good experience.

A bit dissapointed. Booked and paid more for a king bed, got given 2 singlebeds. No handtowel provided on the first night. They took our soap on the second day we had no soap to shower with. Room had musty smell.

Coach suite was crammed with a bunk bed and and two twin beds put together to make a “king” sized bed in the same space. A dysfunctional bathtub and lacking basic amenities to cook with. The room was 3,600 rand for a 3 night stay. What was supposed to be one of their better rooms looked like it was a suicide letter short of a horror film. Don’t waste your money here! I just feel bad for the staff in the reception area who come in daily and hold this mess together.

Arrived unannounced and helped immediately. The receptionist was outstanding in making sure we were comfortable. Good food, clean rooms, close to town, good Wifi.

This place was a great find, it is central which gives you access to a lot of shops and sites to visit but it is also in an area which makes you feel connected to nature and away from the loudness of the city. The service was amazing, the room was beautiful and super clean will definitely be returning and recommending to friends.
