After their waffle maker was fixed we finally got our ice cream fix! The batter was still frozen, but we were willing to wait after we were disappointed the previous time. The ice cream is out of this world (as usual) and the service was good and friendly, although they were slightly unprepared. The atmosphere in the middle of the noisy mall is not the best so we might look for a different branch next time.

If you want to reward yourself for making your steps on a cold winters night 19/8 then try Pauls ice cream.The waffels with salted caramel and nuts was crazy delicious. Between the 5 of us we got a variety of flavours..including the vegetarian flavors..would have to give that another chance though.The ladies who work there are friendly, quick and know their stuff. Definitely sit down at the tables and chairs..you enjoy your treat more

Fist time at Paul's, definitely not dissapointed. Waffels was great, ice-cream even better. Can recomend to anyone with a sweet tooth. Only one thing that i would like to add with a sit-down waffele is a cup of coffee.

Love a good ice cream. Paul's Homemade definitely ticks that's box. A variety of flavors to choose from and very delighted to have found a vegan option, which was really good.

Absolutely love this place. My new favourite ice-cream joint. I recommend you go during low-peak hours cause then you can easily taste the flavours without being rushed.

Went here yesterday. For one there isn't nearly enough seating. The staff are slow, unpleasant and uncaring. No decent customer service. Really unpleasant vibes. But the brownie was decent, would have tasted better if they gave it to me warm...

Vegan options questionable.I have an egg allergy and decided to try the vegan dark chocolate ice cream. Checked the ingredients beforehand to be sure. Almost instantly felt like it was eggy - had an allergic reaction and had to throw it away after paying 50 rand for a single scoop. Very disappointing , was sick for the rest of my day.Might be cross contamination , if not dishonesty / carelessness about the ingredients. Either way , irresponsible and unfair to customers who expect to be able to trust the product or those without sensitivities who wouldn't know otherwise that the product isn't vegan. If you do have allergies , be careful.
