My husband and I were treated by Hennie Grove 5 years ago and since then we have been constantly struggling with the poor work he has done. First, he started work on 2 teeth which he did not complete, but referred to specialists which was very expensive. Second, he broke a crown on a new implant that again cost a visit to a specialist. The new crown then made was not symmetry with the other front tooth. Thirdly, my husband had to replace a filling done by him this morning. I already had to replace 2 fillings done by him. Luckily we stopped visiting him, as he told me I had to remove a tooth which is so damaged it would not last 3 months...5 years later and two opinions from other dentists, the tooth is happily still in my mouth

Dr. Hennie Grove repaired my teeth (crowns) on my lower gums that another dentist made a mess of. He recently dit a total crown replacement on my uppur gums. After put it in it fits perfectly without the nessesity of any ajustments. No wonder the Periodontist, Dr. Geoff Patterson said to me to use just Dr. Hennie Grove, because he is the BEST. 18 months ago Dr Grove informed me I had a tooth that needed its filling redone. I had no pain in this tooth. Long story short, after he referred me to a periodontist, which cost a fortune, he insisted we do a root canal on the tooth although the periodontist concurred that the tooth had a fracture. I requested he remove the tooth. He refused. Root canal and a crow done, cost me a small fortune. I’ve had to have the whole tooth removed this week after having discovered I in fact have an infection in my jaw and loss of bone. I’m in tremendous pain! My new dentist says it’s unheard of to do a root canal and a crown on a fractured tooth. It just goes to show you - anything to make money off a patient. Wish I had never met Hennie Grove

Dr Hennie and his assistant always make me feel at eased. Friendly and very professional. I am very happy with his service. He always works very carefully and have never had a better dentist. I have always received excellent service from Dr Hennie and his team. Thank you Dr! I recommend him to everyone.

I know doctor Hennie Grové for over 35 years, and he did all dentistry on me for all these years. It so happen to be that I was born a perfectionist and certainly wouldn’t allow a non-perfectionist to do any work on my teeth. The first 23 crowns that he did, lasted for over 25 years.My experience of him is that he is highly competent and professional and I would never consider another dentist for as long as he is in practice.

Dr Hennie is a straight shooter. He tells you what the problem is, shows it to you then asks you where you would like to start. He works neat, and he is a perfectionist and takes pride in his work. If anyone has a problem with him, have the guts to speak to him in person and sort it out, don't give him bad ratings if you haven't sorted out the problem verbally with him. He has a heart of gold.

Shocking service, not prepared to resolve invoice issues and overcharging for services. Won't response in writing to you either.

Dr Grove has been our family dentist for years. He takes pride in his work and never disappoints. He is absolutely perfectionistic and he doesn't just treat the symptoms but he gets to the root of the problem (pun intended!) and gives the best treatment. I would highly recommend Dr Hennie to anyone.

I am truly surprised to hear negative comments about dr Grove. He is certainly the best dentist I have ever had (I am 71 years old). Like most, I was terrified of injections in my mouth, that has changed since he became my dentist, I will fly from Mossel Bay to see him in Pta.Decent dentistry is not cheap, but he charges laid down prescribed rates, not what he feels like. I know this because my medical aid never has any issues with his account.
