Ichiban (Villieria Waverley) Thai, Chinese food & Sushi Bar

Always love their Thai food as it tastes similar to real Thai food! The friendliness of the staff and owner is wonderful and inviting. Never had a bad experience here.

On the 28 th February 2023 i went to buy food at Ichiban . I am sorry to say that the service was pathetic. We waited an hour before our food was ready. Totally unacceptable. Never going to buy food there again. The lady who served us was not very friendly and i got the idea she didnt know what she was doing. On receiving the order another man also said that he also had the same order number. One order was a dish with cashew nuts.But their was no cashew nuts in the food.

Well kept, neat, tidy and clean. Food tastes great and very well presented.

Second time I ordered from Ichiban Villeria. I normally only order sushi. They have amazing sushi. The veggies used for their stirfry seems to be prepacked McCain type veggies. And no flavour. I had to add my own sauces for taste. Very dry chicken stir fry. The lady I ordered from forgot my drink and then tried to force 3 drinks onto me when I only ordered 1. I phoned the restaurant and I couldn't get a refund. Nor did they have any drivers to bring me my drink. I know it's just a drink but I was charged for it as part of my order and the fact that I tipped the driver still and the restaurant refused to get me my drink unless I ordered 2 MORE DRINKS seemed so ridiculous. I had to argue with the driver for 5mins because the lady didn't tell him what was going in at all. What a disappointment. My food was ice cold by the time my drink finally arrived and I had to argue just so they don't charge me for another drink. Unfortunately I will now never order there again. The unprofessionalism left a bad taste in my mouth. And the clumsyness of taking orders and not sending out the full order. No thank you. Never again.

The sushi is good but it does become very busy. And too busy for this small shop. At busy times the wait for sushi is very long and it seems like the staff gets a bit flustered with the orders, sometimes forgetting to omit some specially asked for items such as seeds (allergy).Parking is not great on a busy road. I would suggest phoning your order in.

I'm very disappointed with the service I received tonight, 26 April 2023. I waited just over an hour for my order, which was just a Chicken Chop Suey! (Order placed at 18:33 order in hand 19:34) When I inquire about my order after an hour has passed, my oder was just sitting there waiting, no one bothered to get the orders out.Although the place was busy, it seems like Uber is getting preference to the customers that is already in the shop.

Its different, its calm and clean...small but at times it is exactly what i want.

Tried to dine in the lady at the register was so rude and when we asked if we can sit to eat, she hesitated and said ok ya it's fine. Didn't ask us if we wanted something to drink. Didn't come to take our order so we left. Terrible terrible terrible

I’ve ordered almost every Sunday for the last 3 years and it’s been happening countless times that they don’t have the correct Japanese Mayo then they just add tangy mayo to all their sushi, which is terrible. I won’t be ordering from them again.
