Sun City Resort

Last year, I had the opportunity to visit Sun City Resorts as part of a work team-building event. It was my first visit since I last went like ten or fifteen years ago and it proved to be an exciting and memorable experience.We stayed at the Cabanas and engaged in activities like quad biking and the thrilling Amazing Race challenge. It was a fantastic combination of fun and challenges, with some clues proving to be quite tough to crack.The quad biking team was incredibly helpful and informative, ensuring that we were well-prepared before embarking on our adventure. Their guidance added to the overall enjoyment of the experience.During our stay, we had the pleasure of dining at a Greek-inspired restaurant. While the name escapes me, I must say that the food was nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend trying it out if you have the chance, the lasagna and sharing plates were great.As for the Valley of the Waves, it offered the usual fun and excitement. However, if you have been there before, it may not provide much novelty on subsequent visits. Nevertheless, it remains an enjoyable experience for those looking to cool off and have some water-themed fun.Sun City Resorts also provides excellent meeting facilities for team gatherings. The spacious rooms, impressive sound systems, and large screens make them ideal for conducting productive and engaging team meetings.The breakfast buffet at the resort was decent, but it didn't particularly stand out. While it satisfied hunger in the morning, it may not be something that you would write home about in terms of exceptional culinary experiences.Overall Sun City Resorts has something to offer for everyone.

For a family of 6, the Cabana's accommodations are fantastic. excellent air conditioning. Everything is conveniently located. The staff is warm and welcoming. An excellent live band provides all-day entertainment outside. has a baby pool as well for young children. Wonderful breakfast. Nice place

Cabana is the affordable accommodation, but still comfortable and beautiful.Housekeeping is so helpful.Sun City as a whole has so much to offer for a getaway.A lot of options for activities and places to eat! Great for family vacations!

Shuttle bus made it easy to get from point to point. I am a little disappointed that the shuttle train is not operating any longer. Will visit again in the summer when the valley of the waves is open. We had a great time.

Stayed in Cabanas, the rooms there were okay, but it was the only hotel that could have more than two people (foldout couch). The food at the restaurant down by the pool is horrible, and the wait time for the food there is unreal, would not recommend. The staff is nice though. There is a food court within the mall, and some good restaurants as well. If you are traveling here from a country like Canada or the US, everything will be extremely cheap due to the weakness of the rand; you can buy a steak for around $10. Overall a decent vacation area, but not the best.

The service was great. They checked up on us after we booked in to make sure that everything was okay. The rooms were clean as well as the bathrooms. The location is a bit far out if you live in Pretoria, but it is worth it.

Excellent as always! Attention to detail and great service, especially from The Palace Room Service. Going the extra mile and nothing is ever too much to ask for.

The breakfast was delicious. Lots to do, a wide variety of restaurants. The premises around Sun City are very beautiful you can go for long relaxing strolls and swims. A real go-to place for a quick break away.

This is the best family resort in South Africa. The rooms are clean, spacious and modern. The resort has many activities to keep the young and old ones entertained.

The place has lots of fun stuff for the kids and adults. I loved all the activities and restaurants. It's great that now the entrance fee includes food coupons. It's less hustle to buy food.
