My partner works there and he's referred several family members who have started good insurance policies with the help of Iemas.

I have phoned the past two days trying to get hold of a Consultant but to no avail. Eventually I wrote a mail and was promised that they will contact me. This did no happened. Poor service. No wonder they can't compete with Outsurance

The service from Iemas Insurance is extremely poor. It's impossible to contact them by telephone. They just do not come on line to assist. Have through several attempts been holding on until line goes on time out. They have no email contact address on their site. I am certain I will leave them. They get a ZERO star

Been insured with them for more than 25 years. Trying to insure a new car today. Now they deliver Useless, Pathetic service. Made about 10 calls on one day and got put on hold every time for more than 15 minutes. Their service has dropped from good to poor to non existent. Nobody knows what to do so they put you on hold. Only one number to call and no one to complain to. How clever of them. They even promised to call me back, they never did. Stay away from them and find someone better if you can.

Did not return the call. Not answering emails. Iemas is not the same as 20years ago. Then the service was excellent, now there is no service

Iemas Insurance service is appaling. I was trying to report a burst geyser on morning of 23 June 2021. Absolutely impossible to get an agent on the line for assistance. After numerous calls and about R70 of airtime later on 25 June 202 I managed to get a claim number. Since 14:00 on 25 June and another few calls later I got an agent on the linepromising to appoint a plummer. I am thus looking forward to a weekend without hot water. I am hoping for replaced geyser by the end of winter

Worst, most dreadful and disgusting insurance company on planet earth. STAY AWAY ! No customer service and no communication ability whatsoever.Don’t bother looking up their contact numbers, it doesn’t work or they don't answer. Don’t bother emailing them, they don’t reply. Don’t bother using their online contact form, it doesn’t get delivered and/or nobody reads them. Don’t bother for communication about pay-outs, they will simply not pay you and not say anything. You will have to ask for annual pay-outs and if you do query them about it, you will never receive an answer.In my 7/8 emails that I’ve typed I have no answers to my 3 questions. Normally they will pay you a dividend by the end of November each year, not anymore. They require you to fill in a manual form for their so called “rewards system” with information they already have and then must sign and email it back not knowing what they do with the form as they can’t answer me on the POPI Act query what they do with forms and sell it off to someone else, who knows? So now you will not receive annual pay-outs anymore you have to register online for their rubbish “rewards system” (which they don’t tell you about) on a website where the registration system doesn’t work. Trying this registration on four different browsers and two PCs and one notebook, to no avail. According to the website I’m not a customer with them although they deduct monthly premiums. Don’t bother asking for help, you won’t get any. Stay clear of Iemas.

After being with Imas for years, they have really disappointed in terms of their administration and communication. My policy was increased with R330.00 without my knowledge or without notice, months before my yearly renewal date. They also split up my debit orders in to 2 seperate amounts. Why I dont know as they don't communicate. I canceled my policy and will never return!!
