Fix I.T Computer & Laptop repairs

Liers and cheats. They botched a simple job of replacing a charging port and fried something on the motherboard rendering and entire expensive gaming laptop useless. I'd managed to semi-fix my charge port myself many times and it always worked but I wanted it professionally done to be like new so I trusted them. On my job card they didn't list my laptop as 'dead' as that would be untrue and I would then leave and charge it and come back to prove it but they agreed to accept it as no dead but battery flat. Also they had it for 6 months since they were too slack in checking for when parts were available and the technician that worked on it (on his couch btw!) Said there was water damage hence the broken laptop when I got it back. I took them to court and they then denied the water damage since I had photo proof of no water damage, as he'd described on a recorded phone call. The judge dismissed my job card and somehow all my evidence didn't prove they broke it.

Highly recommend Fix I.T! Super friendly and trustworthy staff. As a person who knows nothing about computers I put my trust in them. Jade took the time to explain everything to me and fixed my laptop at an unbeatable price. Thank you guys for the great service!

Fast, efficient service. Jade gave me a very affordable price for my MacBook Air battery replacement and now my laptop is back to its good old self! The service was very reliable and communication around parts was clear and speedy! I would definitely highly recommend their services to others!

A very frustrating experience. After attempting to call and receiving no answer I contacted them on WhatsApp. I received very slow responses throughout the whole day only to finally be told that my model of laptop was 'very risky' to service. I asked why and received absolutely no response. After researching and contacting a friend in I.T. I was very easily able to disprove their claim. With the right experience and tools my laptop is easily serviced. Contacted another company and they answered my call quickly and politely. They gave an assessment for free and fixed my laptop without any issue. I am very disappointed in Fixit as they received high ratings. Had they been honest and told me that they lacked the experience to fix my laptop I would not be leaving a bad review. However, their lack of communication and false claim about the laptop being risky to service is dishonest and bad customer service. If you have a gaming laptop I would highly suggest that you look elsewhere.In response to the reply to this review:- I appreciate that it can be frustrating to receive a negative review. I would accept your explanation for the lack of communication were it not for the fact that you didn't respond to me for 2 days after calling my laptop 'risky' but managed to message me within 2 minutes of getting a negative review to request that I take it down. Part of rendering service is first point of contact. I am well within my rights to describe the frustration of my communication with your business. As for your explanation... I received none at the time as you did not respond. My laptop was not a risky case to fix as evidenced by the fact that I now have it fixed and sitting on my desk. I would suggest that you use this review as a chance to better customer communication. I wish you well.

The technician attended to my laptop issue out of office hours. He happily took my laptop in, discovered the problem, and managed to get me a new laptop charger which was also delivered on the same day to my house. I was really happy with the customer service and i would highly recommend their service for any computer-related issues.
