Food that's as authentic as it can get. And great service with smiling staff. Portion sizes are decent.As a frequent visitor I can say I've tried almost everything here, even the new north Indian menu and the burgers that keeping going on an off. P.S The burgers are divine and hope they do become a regular.That said, if you eat less spicy food. Please mention it. They do go to 'too spicy' territory for me, every once in a while, even when I am someone who can tolerate a bit of spice. Happens with pav bhai and paneer sandwich for example.If the restaurant gets busy, you may have quite a wait for your food. But boy do the flavours make up for everything anf anything. ❤️

Very nice ambiance, good service and great taste of Karanataka. Just remembered my past life in Bangalore. Loved the filter coffee. Idly is like a cotton and crisp vada. Proper crispy Ravva dose. All and all excellent.

Visited today for the chaat. Heads up, this menu is only available from 4pm onwards.All chaat were delicious, didn't get to try the masala puri. 6 to 8 servings per portion.Chai is small serving like in India, South Africans need a few of these. Perhaps a mug option can be offered.The pineapple cake is always a winner.The store is affected by loadshedding, with emergency lighting and the kitchen is open.Rather call to book/enquire, as whatsapp isn't effective or recommended.

As good as the best in South India, flavours all authentic. The dishes may look simple, but the flavour profiles are quite complex. Excellent potato masala, same with the dal makhni, well all their dishes well above average. We are lucky to have a restaurant like this in Rosebank. Service can improve a bit, but the food overshadows that so its not a big deal.

Scrumptious masala dosa full of flavour. The curry leaf really stands out in the potato and the dosa was crispy on the outside with a beautiful chewy texture. The potato filling had a perfect medium chilli heat too. Black Forest slice was more like layers of vegan brownie with glacéd cherries & cream, but still enjoyable. Great value for money

Tried a few things and I was so impressed.. The doses were great, the sauces a little spicy but not too bad. The cakes were just amazing! Some of the best chocolate cakes I have had!

Authentic Karnataka style restaurant close to Rivonia. Their menu has become longer and added more dishes. I personally like the ghee masala dosa and meals. They also have seasonal dishes and a bakery now.
