Exceptionally poor service. Took a computer in for repairs which is just over a year old. They would source the part and repair. Never did. Left messages for the manager to no avail

I'm speechless... Store management needs to seriously do something about this perticular technician!A short while ago I had a problem with the technician at this store in that he caused me great inconvenience by recommending incorrect parts. The matter was escalated to head office as the store had a sorry to hear of your kak" attitude. A very nice gentleman from head office resolved this issue quickly and amicably.27 August 2022

If you ever need to find some conponent or part quickly and cant wait for online ratailers, avoid Matrix.I baught a part from them that failed within a day whick would be fine if not for the horrible return experience.Unlike other similar electronic shops, they did not disclose before purchase that they take 15% of the product value, this only appears in small print on the slip after purchase. Also, unlike any other retail shop they don't return the credit by means of a reversal or EFT, but rather make a cash deposit which incurs a substancial amount of admin costs from the bank out of your own pocket, in my case brining the total loss up to 27%.The staff member that helped me with the refund was very helpful and these policies are obviously outside of their control, but this experience is very similar to numerous bad experiences friends and family have had and this is not acceptable.

The staff are very patient. They take their time explaining everything about the item you're looking to buy and are always willing to answer questions.

Took my desktop PC in for a diagnostic. They did not give me a clear reason as to why my pc was acting up, their reason is to not having the parts to test it. When I returned home, they never plugged any of my PC components in. We went back and asked for a manager, there was none and asked them to fix it. They did, however now my pc forces me into my bios, a problem I never had before and has random shut downs when I put it on. I would not recommend taking any desktop PC to their store. It wasn't even a replacement, I just wanted a diagnostic but came out with more problems than I had going in.

Could be better. Not good enough to recommend.
