Was not impressed with management at all. I took some nibbles for the grandies and felt judged while sorting them out and during ordering eats for us.Not sure if management does jot have children or if it thought that we brought out own adult foods...We have been before but before Covid and thought it would be great to take the covid born babies to see the ducks... always beautiful...I will admit that I will always pack nibbles for my grandchildren cause there is nothing worse than nagging children. The service was great. The place beautiful as iy was renovated.But management........I don't know hey... no apologies after we ordered.....

We were a group of four who enjoyed breakfast at Geuwels Restaurant. The interesting menu consisted of traditional and some outside-of-the-ordinary breakfast items, all with a special touch and flair to make them outstanding. The service was professional, and the food was superbly presented, tasty and flavoursome. All and all an enjoyable experience in beautiful and well-maintained surroundings. Make sure to also visit the manor house and wine tasting centre, if open.

We really had a great food experience. The chef did not disappoint. (It is a mainly tapas" food selection).Service could have been a little more attentive ( I absolutely hate having to look for the waiter when there is only one other "table of people" left in the room). Otherwise

A really brilliant experience. We've been twice and both times the food was exceptionally good. Highly recommend their chef curated menu with some desserts! The farm is peaceful and beautiful and the food is delicious.

Geuwels at Vergenoegd Löw Estate is fast becoming one of my favorite restuarants in the Stellenbosch winelands. Living just 10 minutes away, means I can visit at the drop of a hat! Chef Astrid and her always friendly team are such a pleasure to deal with. The food is exceptional - my recommendation is the Chef's Sharing Menu. Those Roosterkoeke with the Biltong and Bovril Butter is my obsession! So good! The setting is perfect - quiet, quint and stylish. You really get to enjoy your meal! My wish is everyone to try Geuwels at least once - I'm confident you'll be back in no time! :-)

Just took a walk around the farm to get a feel for our next visit and the view was soooo good.Looking forward to having the fine dining experience at Clara's Barn soon.Geuwels looks so good with the share platters, perfect if we a group. Have so many ideas for when we come again.

Probably one of THE best lunches I've ever had. Don't get much better than this!!Had the Chefs menu for the table. Well worth every cent. I seriously can't pick a favourite dish. All were excellent.Even had a nap underneath the Acorn trees. Bliss!!!

A very pleasant and relaxing place to come to. The food is good however I feelIts not value for money. There’s no way that slap pap can cost R90 when you can buy a kilogram of Maize for under R30 and feed 100 people with that one bag.Their lunch menu is mostly tapas and also expensive.I like the runner ducks.They either need to adjust their pricing or their portion size.
