We ordered a parcel on the 22/12. We paid R70 express delivery for it to be delivered today. They sent us a message at 4pm to say it was delayed. WHY DID WE PAY FOR DELIVERY if you did NOT deliver today. I need an answer ASAP

Takealot has become mediocre.Almost half my orders either get delayed, items suddenly out of stock (so I get a partial order shipped), or shipments entirely 'lost' in transit.Their prices are inflated and discounts are an absolute lie (just look at other online retailers and compare before you buy).There are better options, I'm honestly done with them after years of being a customer.Looking forward to Amazon putting you in your place.

Not to be trusted, this company along with MR Delivery, approves of lying to the customer. Why would you use them! Mr delivery failed to deliver, and blamed me, tarnising my name with their lies!

I wasn't actually visiting Takealot. I was just in the carpark having enjoyed a very good curry at Nameskar restaurant. But I have benefited from the work of this local Takealot Depot. They are a South African company offering a really efficient and reliable service. I recently sought to buy two cookbooks online, and found amazon offered them more cheaply than our local companies. But the I found they were charging more than the price of the goods for delivery. In the end it was no contest. Takealot did not charge for delivery. Local is lekker!

The dispatch preparations and assignments of deliveries are processed very early each day and except where deliveries are time specific, goods are normally fully dispatched by 10AM and latest 11AM. Deliveries are done by dedicated men and women who are very committed.I was part of the dispatch teams when I was doing their training and I was very impressed by the dedication of both the management and the delivery staff.They just do not deliver goods but food as well from customers ordering online. They are strict on both goods and food delivery standards and time limits.....making their service very reliable.

Placed an expensive order for a power supply for loadshedding. I specifically ordered one with south african sockets and received one with US sockets. I called to query the procedure of exchanging, only to be informed that I might only get my product in 10 days now..... why should I pay a premium for fast delivery if you can't deliver the correct products in a timely manner. Poor communication, no quality control and you punish your customers for your mistakes?? I have spent tens of thousands with your company but until you guys catch a wake up call and put your clients 1st you won't see a cent from me.

The Takealot pick-up point really works well. Ample parking at the entrance. Friendly and efficient service and it is open untill 20:00. Makes picking up a breeze!

Distasteful service !They give false tracking and delivery information... I took leave from work the whole day just to be told at 4pm by the alleged courier service that takealot has not delivered a single thing AND my package will only arrive next Wednesday!! Disgusting!
