What a charming tea house in the middle of Humansdorp.Enter in through the farm stall and you will be transported to a outrageously furnished tea house (in a good way) where you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee while listening to soothing piano music. This is the ideal place to go if you want to score points with your mother in law! I did not eat as I was waiting for the world famous R25 Chelsea buns, but the food that passed me by looked absolutely delicious.Take a while to wonder through the decorated stall, where you can browse clothes, condiments and gifts. A lovely find and will definitely be back with my mother in law.

I enjoyed an omelette, it was not expensive and way too much food for me to finish. This was now really a delicious dish and I would recommend this for breakfast or a lunch! Fantastic atmosphere, today I only enjoyed a cappuccino. I came back today to try the French toast! This is definitely the most amazing breakfast I enjoyed in a while. The figs, nuts, syrup and bacon combination is the best ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ I must complement them on the most beautiful restroom and it is always clean and tidy. Well done!

Old school vibe with a small menu that always delivers. They have an interesting knick knack shop as well as fresh baked goods and assorted other sauces, preserves, rubs, etc. Well worth a visit when in Humansdorp or traveling past en route elsewhere.

Anyone traveling past Jeffreys Bay needs to visit this little gem. Stunning restaurant with quality food which is beautifully presented and great service to match. Enjoy browsing through their little shop which sells unique home decor, clothes, jewellery and homemade jams, fudge, rusks, etc. General decor is definitely part of the attraction - so much to see and soooo much attention to detail ... a feast for the eye! Have been back again and again.

Well most certainly the best kept secret in the area. I would have never guessed the charm and delightfull interiors from the road. From home made goodies and excellent gifts, ladies clothes and magnificent dining area the most important message I can leave is that if you do not make a reservation you may not get a seat for a while.

Had my late mum's heavenly 80th birthday party (sit down luncheon) inside Le Chameleon today. The staff were once again very friendly and accommodating. The food was out of this world. Catering excellently for both senior citizens and young adults. I have always loved their oxtail stew with 'samp'. So did my mum. I had this dish again today. Possibly one of the best restaurants with fabulous and classy decor and atmosphere, and the quiet, back round music completes the glamorous setting. Highly recommended.

Unbelievable beautiful and charming restaurant hidden away in Humansdorp.Ye olde opulent luxurious decadent atmosphere with excellent service.Pricing very reasonable and large potions of food.Such a large selection of wine to choose from. There is also a great boutique shop with the most unusual selection of goodies to choose from. You won't be disappointed.Must visit

It's like finding a diamond in a pile of coal. What an amazing little tearoom / restaurant / shop! The decor is ostentatious yet tastefull. Tou will want to spend hours perusing the shop. Has everything for a gift shop from jams to wine to jewellery to decor. We only had tea and cake. The cake slices are enormous. This qas the first time in my life that a piece of lemon merangue beat me. My wife had the cheescake and my son the carrot cake. All was delicious and we all took doggy bags home to enjoy later. The food on the menu looks divine. Humansdorp is a pretty average farming town, but this place livens it up. Definately worth a visit.
