This was the worst experienced I have ever had dealing with a company. Initially they indicated that the data was fully recovered, the files are not corrupt and have been recovered with original names intact. I proceeded to pay for the recovery. R4000 later, Intratec lost my recovered data. Then tried for 2 months to recover it again, which I found surprising considering they successfully recovered the data within 2 days first time round. I can now only assume that the initial successful recovery was a lie to get me to make payment. Once I started mentioning lawyers and the Consumer Protection Act, Intratec promised to repay my money. Then suddenly a senior technical person will give it a final shot. And recovered the data that I went to collect. The data I now have is complete gibberish with the folders I needed, all empty of the files I needed. My only advice to whoever read this, I do not know how they get a 4.1 rating on Google. You MUST AVOID doing business with Intratec, save yourself the trouble and the loss of money.

They are very quick to send invoices and claim payments that are due but very slow when it comes to service delivery.let alone poor communication - they take forever to respond to their emails.I am not happy at all with their service.

Has been waiting for repair on tape drive for 5 months now and there is absolute no communication from Intratec regarding the status. you need to call them at least 6 times before you get some sort of a response.

Polite staff, went above and beyond to try and recover data. Priced appropriately and fairly, and went to a huge amount of effort at very short notice.

My drive had electro-mechanical damage, the only copy of my life's work. Exact spare parts from 10 years ago were needed... I lost all hope, but Intratec persisted... Imagine the joy I felt getting that call hearing my data was restored ! Thank you for taking care of what's important to me :)

Don't even think about using this recovery service! Just buy a new drive and count your losses. 92% of the files are corrupt after charging me R8500.And the service is probably even worst then cbd home affairs. . . The people who rate this place 5 stars are probably friends of the employees or they recovered 2gig usb sticks. I don't believe anybody with 500gig plus of lost data has ever recieved what they were promised. It's borderline scamming!

I am NOT happy with their service. Took my work laptop in a week ago. I went to fetch my data today (28 Jan) as I was sent an email that it was ready.When I got home and opened my external drive; only 1.5GB of data was extracted and recovered for my 1TB drive. . My important folders appear with no data. I was quoted over R5K for the recovery.I really need answers from the guys. I've sent them an email already.This is gross misrepresentation. I am Fuming. I am unable to work without my data.

This was not a pleasant experience. I cannot recommend this company to anyone. Quick to take your money and they didn't recover all my data even though it took 8 weeks Communication is not great - still waiting for someone to come back to me. Wasted R7300!!

Honestly would not bring any equipment to this company, terrible communication. Full of excuses. Managers ignore all emails and phones calls. Find another company as this one will just frustrate you!
