We adopted our rice crispy of a Chow cross (this is a personal term of endearment for the nuttiest , most loveable fluffy lion of a dog I've ever known) from the SPCA Uitenhague a year and a few weeks ago.They did a thorough garden check with some advice and instruction for when we would bring our Kitsune (previously named Maya) home. When I went to meet her for the first time, it was heartbreaking to see so many animals needed to find homes, but also good to see how well cared for they were, with really clean enclosures and excited pups.I hope they receive continual support for the good and necessary work they do each day.

We adopted our four-legged friends, on this day, four years ago. They are still happy in their forever home. ♥The SPCA Uitenhage staff are truly passionate about what they do, and it shows. The staff are always friendly and eager to assist. I commend them for everything they are doing to help the little ones. ♥

I went to the SPCA for the first time today. I am very very impressed - it speaks of the commitment and care of all the committee members and workers involved. It is well run and well organized establishment, but most of all - you feel and see the passion and compassion for all animals. Not only for the animals in their care but the deep concern for the animals out there that are living under horrendous conditions. As a society we need to support them and we need to report cases of animal abuse to them.

It doesn't matter how good your service or doctors or products are.If you as the client feel like the cat dragged you in the door by the first contact person. Due to unfriendliness, snarky comments or just a lack of people skills.You tend to not go back..
