I used to have a good experience with Valley Pharmacy up until recently. First of all, what pharmacy closes at 4pm! Most people aren't done working at 4pm. Mkem in Durban Road is open 24Hrs a day. Essential Health Pharmacy in Kuils River is open till 8pm because they know not everyone can make it during the day yet we need our medication too. Secondly, the telephone etiquette is terrible, they place you on hold without even asking if it's okay then you can hear them in the background chatting. At one point, I was kept on hold for so, I hung up and when I called back, the Pharmacist didn't even have the decency to apologize. Third, I called in asking if they have my specific cream in stock that I can only get with them, he told me to hang on, he checked and asked if I can call back in 5min I said okay and started to ask something else but he had already hung up! Who does that. Lastly, I was asked for my number so that they can call me back, it's been 3 days, no-one has called me, I tried calling them earlier and the phone just rings and rings. If it wasn't for the fact that I really need the cream, I would have gone somewhere else a long time ago! So disappointed!

Great Friendly service, very helpful staff. Nice and clean, did order what I needed, and called me to say it's in, I can collect. Highly recommended.

Used to be good until today 3/5/2019. I phoned Mornay asking if he delivers as I can't get to the pharmacy because my daughter is sick. (Asthma) her chest is extremely bad and I need to get her on the nebulizer. He says no problem, asks for my address and says he's on his way. It's now been 1hr30min. I live 10min away from the pharmacy and I'm still waiting! My daughter's life depends on the medication. Been trying to phone and no answer for more than an hour! Pathetic
