Fantastic host, chalets are well maintained. Cleaning crew perform a fantastic job. The chalets are on a private upper class beautiful estate yet you have privacy and peace. Located close to many shopping centre's make ot ideal.

We stayed at the lodge for 3 nights this being a repeat visit. What a tranquil retreat! Set in lush surroundings...being woken by the song of so many different birds....enjoying the otherwise silent nights...what a pleasure! If you wish breakfast will be served. All at a reasonable price. We can honestly and sincerely recommend Heuglins Lodge.

Beautiful trees and great setting. Birds all around. Facilities are comfortable and fully equipped for self catering in a simple way. Close to White River but pleasantly removed from the suburban nature of the town.

Absolutely gorgeous and quaint accommodation! The chalets are nestled beautifully amongst tall trees and indigenous plants, giving it a botanical feel. It's very peaceful and the chalets offer a full en-suite bathroom and a neat miniature kitchen tucked behind wooden stack doors. Brian and Frances are exceptionally welcoming and friendly hosts. Highly recommend a stay here if you're visiting the lowveld or just need an over night place to sleep.

We spent 2 nights at Wagtail cottage. Brian and Frances are wonderful hosts. The cottage is very comfortable and clean. The farm and estate are beautiful and we enjoyed walking and exploring. A lovely rest in beautiful surroundings.

We stayed 3 nights a Heuglins and loved every minute. You feel like you're staying with old friends when you stay here. Brian and Frances are so welcoming. The cottages are set in a beautiful setting, very safe, very tranquil. A true break from the hustle and bustle of a hotel. Here you can relax and when you leave you'll have two new friends. I can't recommend this place enough. Thank you Brian and Frances for making us feel at home.

Heuglins was a wonderful home from home. We had a huge warm welcome and the cottages had everything we could need. The beauty of the trees and gardens is spectacular and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Thanks to all who made our stay so glorious.

The host, Brian, was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect for our needs and interests; situated within a garden landscape with birdsong and nature but within a comfortable driving distance to where we needed to be for our trip. Supremely comfortable, spacious and well-appointed accommodation with wonderful fittings and finishes.
