My partner and I ended a trip on a cruise in Cape Town. My partner had been sick on the boat for several days and was getting worse. The ship's medical did very little to help. Everything on the ship was slow and service was poor. We were able to find that he was negative for Covid, Flu, and RSV. By the time I arrived in Cape Town I was looking for absolutely any urgent care or medical center. I found Advanced Global Medical Solutions and called immediately. I spoke to Jerry on the phone. There aren't enough positive adjectives in the dictionary to describe Jerry's service. He set me up with Dr. Riesa Jansen van Rensburg to come directly to our hotel room. Again the service was incredible/outstanding/ amazing/perfect. She examined him, gave him an injection right there in the room, and wrote several prescriptions. Being from the US, I was unfamiliar with pharmacy in Cape Town. She directed me to the pharmacy to go to (found me several options actually), and explained which did were prescription and which were OTC in South Africa. My partner was able to sleep for the first time in 4 days. When he woke up he was substantially better, and the following day even better still. They called and emailed 2 days following the appointment to check.They are life savers! Absolutely, I recommend. I wish they were in the United States where I live as well. 20 out of 10 stars!Thank you for all you did for us!

Service and speed was amazing. Called and left a voicemail, received a call back within 5 minutes from Jerry who helped me through the set up process. About an hour and a half later Dr Thaele was at my hotel room reviewing my symptoms. I leave back to the States in 3 days and will be able to enjoy the last days I have here without worry because of AGM.

My 80 year old mother who lived in Cape Town, 1200km away from where I am in Johannesburg became bed ridden in December, she also suddently became critically ill and needed urgent medical attention and her family doctor was on leave. In desparation I found and called AGMS. From the enquiry call through to when the doctor went out to my mom and gave her the appropriate treament, the staff were unbelievable - kind, compassionate and most importantly saw immediately the treatment she needed and ensured that she got it. I cannot thank the staff at AGMS enough for all their efforts and amazing treatment of my mom.

I cannot recommend AGMS enough. From the way Jerry explained everything to me telephonically, Dr Thaele doing a house visit and thoroughly examining my 82 year old father, discussing possible treatment and way forward with me and phoning later during the day with the lab results and sending through a prescription for medication. Extreme professionalism and empathy all around. It is of great reassurance that they are only a phone call away. Thank you, AGMS, I will definately make use of your services again.

I wish to compliment AGM Medical on their wonderful service received last night. Beginning with my call with Jerry who is the kindest most understanding and compassionate person I have had the pleasure in dealing with in the medical field. Jerry exercised patience with me and was able to explain AGM Medical's service offering with me so professionally. Jerry went as far as to followup with me this morning which in its own right is near unheard of in the industry. Dr Fourie was also such a wonderful help and I am so appreciative for his consultation in a time of urgent need. I was away on holiday and my elderly mom fell ill. Being a doctor myself I was not happy for her to go to just any GP. I needed a doctor to assess her thoroughly, including taking her oxygen saturation, covid test and to decide on whether she needed hospitalization and/or bloods to be taken. And I needed that person to communicate all of this to me via telephone. I contacted AGMS and they gave her the assessment and care I was looking for as well. The doctor also kept me updated with results and feedback. I have since recommended their services and will continue to do so as well as use them myself. In a world where GPs don't do home visits anymore and a trip to the EC often means a long wait, AGMS provides the perfect solution by bringing the equipment and skill to your door in the comfort of your home.

We have used AGMS from the very early stages of this Pandemic and as a hotel, have needed to deliver the best way forward with consultations and testing as efficiently and professionally as possible, in order for our guests to travel and feel safe.Since working so closely with the AGMS team, we can recommend and confirm that they hand in hand deliver a great service and will go out of their way to assist where possible. Their doctors and nurses are of top quality, their booking process is effortless and the overall experience is of 5 star level.

On Wednesday 7 December my 90 year old mom got very sick suddenly, to the extent where she could not be moved. I tried all the local doctors and sadly nobody does house calls any more. I was given the nr of AGMS, and from the very first introduction the service was excellent. I spoke to Jerry who spoke me through the process and by 10:30 he could have a Dr with me by 12. I was only able to confirm by 12:30 and was given a new time for 16h00. Moms condition deteriorated rapidly during this time and and at 14h00, Jerry called back to say that the Dr will be with me By 15h10. And as promised, on time Dr Thaele arrived with all his equipment. After giving him a detailed description of moms condition he started his work. He took great care and time to examine mom, spoke to me, gave me continues feedback as he did his work, and asking mom how she's feeling. There was never any rush or him missing a beat. After an hour he had made a full diagnosis and together we decided to treat mom at home rather than hospital. He provided immediate medication and all the scripts for her medication. By 18H00 that evening, mom had already shown improvement. It is Monday 12 Dec as I write this review and I have been in contact with both Jerry and Dr Thaele everyday on moms progress and further treatment. At no time did I feel I was being a nuisance or that my constant questions were an irritation. I was assured after every message that I will get feedback soon, and it was just so. Dr Thaele called me frequently as promised and this morning I had further engagement with him on the way forward. This is something that is no longer part of medical care, Dr's are just to busy to speak to their patientsI can strongly recommend this service. It's prompt, professional and extremely client centric. Jerry as the first contact at Reception, is a SUPERSTAR. From performing his duties and his accommodating attitude, to all the chats and followups. Dr Thaele's care and concern get my greatest respect for the human manner in which he treated mom.

We are happy to testify that during our recent stay in Cape Town we were assisted in a fantastic and expert way by AGMS. Even during week-ends, help was readily available. Thank you AGMS for your care and for still making it possible for us to have a great vacation in South-Africa in spite of the unexpected health problems which you handled in such a professional and understanding way. Our gratitude is huge!
