Was surprised with portion size of calamari burger great value. Seafood pizza was the best one I ever ordered. Add anchovies for full sea experience.

Great spot and very relaxed atmosphere. lots to choose from on the menu. Massive helpings (as you can see from the attached picture) served by very friendly staff. Entertainment at weekends which we enjoyed. Can easily recommend.

In the 8 years I've been here, in the Garden Route, I've never had such excellent fish. The fish was prepared over the open fire in front of me. Very rustic but relaxing. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I struggled to push a wheelchair.

My children and I had lunch there today. Their food was very nice and enough. I had hake and calamari combo. My calamari was not white when fried and did not taste like calamari but raw. I sent it back. The waiter brought it back after re-frying. It still tasted the same. I asked that he please ask the cook to taste it. He came back, said he reported it to the manager. The manager said it is due to the suppliers. No refund or new calamari was offered. My fish, however, was perfectly cooked, thank you. The waiter was friendly, quick and attentive.

Sorry but this one missed the mark. So many of our drinks were wrong as was half our food. The food wasn't great either. Toilets were in the carpark and had an unsafe feel to them.There didn't seem to be a difference between the smoking and non smoking section so we had strong cigarette smoke smells while eating and then the bill was wrong too.The kids playground was pretty cool though. Maybe it's better out of season? Not sure though as it was mid January already and not very busy.

The food is good and the vibe is great.We were there last evening and there was a live show as well.The portion sizes differ. I had a full plate of food, my dad had a MASSIVE burger and to our surprise the Portuguese roll was a bit small.The ribs on my mom's plate were apparently chewy and the waitress let us down. Kept forgetting things and taking her time with everything, but it was busy so it's probably why she was a bit confused.Will come again, though. Hopefully next time will be better in terms of service and timeliness.

We popped in on our way back from the beachfront. The vibe is good and the gravel floor gives the place a unique feel and atmosphere. It probably gets hot there in the summer because it was a sunny winters day and it was hot inside. The drinks are very well priced compared to other places. The food was awesome. We ordered a bucket to share and that was more than enough for us. The only downside and the loss of a star, is the time it took for our order to arrive. We waited quite long when the place was not really packed. I liked the braai taste of the meat though.
