Friendly and accommodating hosts. Trails can do with some work to make it more attractive. Nice tea and confectioneries in a relaxing environment.

The grounds are really well kept but the hiking trails feel a little too serviced. If you're looking for a crazy, out of the way hike, their trails probably aren't for you.However, they are great for short, scenic strolls. Parking is R30 from February.

A lovely picnic spot for locals. The reserve has a small walk through the woods which is quite peaceful if you're looking for relaxation in nature.Unfortunately, as with most of the government-maintained reserves, amenities and facilities are ill-maintained and could do with an injection of good taxpayer's funds.
