Honeyguide Ranger Camp

Our 3 night stay was exceptional, food and accommodation was great. Stay was made special by our Ranger Julian . Julian you went above and beyond what was expected, your knowledge at the fauna and flora provided a new prospective of what nature is like. Your knowledge of the animals and birds was amazing, some sittings we will never experience again. You are a credit to the Lodge. Thank you again.

We were here for three nights and did enjoy ourselves.When you arrive at the camp a personal guide is assigned to you. He takes of luggage, explains the camp rules and makes the game drives.We felt welcome and enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and accomodating towards us, even with the odd extra request.The food was very good and reflected a good mix of local and international flavors. Everything was well seasoned and there has always been enough.We got very lucky with our guide and the wildlife, that we were allowed to discover.Even though there was a day of wet, windy weather, it was a wonderful stay.Thank you Team Honeyguide for a great time.

An amazing glamping experience. There is no fencing around the lodge, so you can't walk around at night by yourself. But, truth be told, the morning and afternoon game drives tired us out enough that we were in bed and ready to sleep rather than explore.The staff are super attentive, and the game drives very rewarding!Take a drive out there and see for yourselves.

This place is beautiful and the best if you want to be in touch with nature. We were lucky enough to be there when the lions were around the camp at night. Slept to the sounds of them roaring by the pool. Our ranger, Solomon, is the best and very good at tracking, we were able to see 4 of the big 5. The drives were also about the scenery we got so close to that amazing Waterberg mountain. Beautiful, clean place with very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely a must do again!!!

What an amazing experience. Would highly recommend! All of the staff were so friendly, accommodating and paid attention to detail. What made the trip for us though was our guide, Jimmy. He was unbelievable and is extremely talented, with phenomenal tracking skills. He went out of his way to ensure that we had a great time and even found every animal that we requested. His knowledge of animals, both big and small, was unmatched. If you come here, ask for him!!

What an absolutely amazing experience.We had a game drive in the morning and evening. With meals all provided in-between.Our cabin was a comfortable experience, don't let the tent thing fool you. We had all the comforts you'd expect.They provide some peaceful sleep , but bring some extra with you.We saw so many animals , lions , etc. You won't be disappointed by the animals you see.

Very knowledgeable guides that don't lie to you they know their facts and can tell good jokes. They handled our team with respect. A friendly welcome and a long good bye is what every lodge needs.... Defenetly going back

I must preface that I am a guide and a safari company owner and I've stayed in hundreds of lodges and hotels all over the world not just in nature environments.Having said this the Honeyguide Ranger met and exceeded my expectations. Jimmy and Sydney were the stand out stars as they went out of there way to excel at the jobs, they are respectful and so patient they made the experience for us.Jimmy was excellent while on Game drive as his patience and knowledge of the area got us the best Sightings and the best position in all the Sightings. The radio ethic and management of the park is also really excellent they go out of their way to make sure they are not interfering with the nature.Our chef did a wonderful job preparing food according to our dietary requirements. If you are looking for a safari close to Johannesburg I suggest this for 2 or 3 nights is perfect.Ahhhh the library or hide is such a nice place to sit ans relax during the day it is a must !! Enjoy

Spent 3 nights at the Honeyguide Ranger camp. The room was clean and spacious, we even woke up to the sound of lions roaring which was a great experience. Our guide Charles was great, he was very knowledgable and helped us with great sightings. The only reason for the 3 stars and why I wouldn’t go back were the dinners. Food plays a big part of a holiday and the dinners unfortunately disappointed.
