I often complain on this platform but today I’m going to give a shout out to ABSA in Malvern. Not very often does an organisation apologise for an error and this branch took responsibility and did not make excuses which is very rare this day and age.Well done for outstanding customer service, @Vernon Naiker, I sure hope your Branch Manager reads this review. Holding down the fort very well during his/her absence. Thank you for making my branch visit a joyful experience. Keep up the awesome work.

Switched to ABSA, had a hiccup with fica and opening the account, but its all sorted out now and absa seems to be a step up from standardbank with the assistance and help towards its clients. The online app looks clean and has lots of functionality to it.

I've been waiting 2 months to get feedback or someone atleast calling me to make an appointment with the business banker, and everytime I call to follow up they simply say that the business banker will call me back whichNever happens . ABSA is a joke! I'll be moving my business elsewhere

Very disappointed. About 8 people in the queue and only one teller working and she is counting coins for over 15 minutes now we all waiting and they are closing in 16 minutes

Been waiting in line for over 30 minutes and haven't moved. Apparently they didn't empty the ATM machine before the end of month. Banking can't be that hard!

Bank has been revamped however the service levels remains pathetic. Very laid back staff and no urgency to resolve customer queries efficiently and effectively. Queues are also a problem. Had issues in the past where I sent email queries with nil response. Seems to be stemming from poor management at this branch.

Pathetic customer services waited for over 30 mins after asking them how long will it be they told me 5-10 minutes. Not the friendliest of people

Terrible service for an ABSA branch,dozen customers in the queue (some elderly) and 1 out of 5 tellers working, staff walking in and out of the branch unconcerned and undeterred by our long wait...branch needs a serious change in management

Absa cash points took my cash and gave me a receipt saying deposit not accepted without returning my cash ....made a complaint but all Absa says is it's under investigation ......terrible service ....cash point should have camera proving I put money in can't see why it should take 7 days to return my own money
