Rooms are spacious, the bed is spacious and comfortable. The shower is small and squishy. The hotel in general is clean and beautiful. Breakfast is good, however I was not happy with my supper order. We opted to eat out for supper for the rest of our trip.

I’m pretty surprised that this hotel has a 4 star rating. Definitely needs some maintenance and a facelift. The rooms are pretty basic but with the essentials. This hotel is really noisy - second time that I stayed here so it’s not just a once off. The staff are really pleasant and helpful. Hopefully there’s a facelift and some renovations in the pipeline to modernize the rooms and something being done to improve the sound proofing.

Hotel is in fair maintenance but there is plenty room to improve it to be a really 4 star hotel. Specially reception staff (day/night): getting back to hotel at night the key room did not work. At Reception desk, a man who was not able to give a new card, and the only answer was:”Call Mastercard and they will open the room with your card”. Morning duty at Reception took one hour to issue an invoice with the wrong data. Amendment requested and just cha ve by hand with a pen.

Booked the Tugela room for a party on 28 January 2023. Also booked 2 rooms. The place was dirty and disgusting. Food was burned. The staff ate off our buffet and cleared it out before our guests were done eating. They also took the food that we paid extra to bring into the venue. Addressed the issues with management and nothing was done about it. It is extremely overpriced for the pathetic service and venue you get. The hotel is beyond neglected and the staff don't seem to care.

The food is great. Well done to the chefs. Hotel rooms I was not impressed, the old style tiling and they are too small. No balcony. I love their gym.

This place needs a face-lift just to compete with the Bon hotel nearby. Service is great though and it's in a superb location.

This place is too noisy. I am spending 3 nights without a fridge, the room I am in is too small with uncomfortable bed. I’m really not looking forward to coming back here ever again
