So I purchased the Rancheros Omelette from MrD, the food itself is delicious until you get to the paper lining the plastic container… I respect that it’s branded and the packaging overall looks great, but the omelette is rather saucy and soaks straight through the paper.You end up taking a delicious bite of eggy goodness with a paper mixed in. Please fix this, my husband told me he ended up eating the paper the last time he had it.I pulled out the paper, but I’m finding bits of it as I eat. The bit on the fork was unfortunately part of a bite I took.

Service slow due to not enough staff employed (looks like). How can a restaurant be out of stock of preserves and Tabasco??? Seems like poor running of an establishment to me…. Not like it used to be unfortunately

Cash only during load shedding?? If you can’t invest in backup power for a card machine then why should I invest energy in your branch. Also, just sit down and the waitress announces to us “no fries, no hash browns, cash only. Is that ok?” I mean what great service!

Food was absolutely divine. Unfortunately they were understaffed and we waited to place our order and to get the food. Thankfully it was hot on arrival and tasty.

I love a Mugg & Bean but I would not recommend this one in particular. Been here three times and waited very very long for my food (just under an hour) every time. Waited 40 minutes for a muffin once. Waiters never checked in to see if I wanted another drink or if everything is okay. I may be sympathetic if they were busy, but each time the restaurant was less than half full.When the food did eventually come it was good, otherwise I would have left a 1 star review.

We visit this M&B every few weeks with the kids, and they enjoy it as there’s usually something good on the menu for them. The last two visits have been really disappointing though. On both occasions the food was below standard and we had to fight the flies for our food. I haven’t eaten at a restaurant indoors and had such an issue with flies before, and to make things worst, the waiters and waitresses don’t always come and remove used crockery, glasses etc from the tables meaning there’s more of a reason for the flies to be there. Real pity because this was one of the better M&B, but something seems to have changed for the negative…..

Popped in for the famous M&B muffins. Generous portion, not badly priced. They could take a bit more care in the presentation of their hot drinks. The foam art was sloppy and the added touch of a biscuit whilst nice, can be improved by placing it neatly on the saucer and wiping away the crumbs before serving.

I love that this place is secluded - nice for private meetings or gatherings.Good customer service.The baked cheesecake was the best I’ve had in a very long time - well done!
