The Repair Guy

The stars given are for the Technician Kevin’s work but the owner needs to practice what his website preaches. The customer service was zero from this company. I had chase this guy three times and he didn’t have the courtesy to get back to me once, even when he said he would. I’m fairly certain he hadn’t even booked my job in on the day we had planned. It’s not difficult to speak to your customers promptly and your business would definitely get better reviews. Thanks to Kevin for your professional service.

My mother's washing machine stopped working. Kevin came by appointment and checked the machine. It was worn out. After chatting with Don he arranged for a suitable new machine for delivery and installation the next day. I was very impressed by the professional and courteous service provided by The Repair Man and would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

Don was very helpful and informative when we spoke on the phone, Kevin came the next day he was very professional and confirmed what we already thought, it was beyond repair and explained the reasons for this.I spoke to Don and he suggested a couple of replacement options and once chosen was installed within 24 hrs, and my old machine taken away.Will certainly recommend, Knowledgeable, Professional and Value for money.Thanks for the great service.

Bought a part not long ago. was very happy with the part. This time around I needed a repair service for my fridge... Service was quick and the technician (Kevin I think) is so skilled in what he does. Wanted to write the review 10 days ago right after the service but thought i would wait to see how my fridge would perform after repair. Been 10 days and the fridge works fine without a problem. Thanks!

Prompt service arranged by Don. Same day arrangement. Kevin is the guy came. Explained to us what to fix and why. Washer fixed without problem, dryer has a circuit board issue so too expensive to replace. Kevin tested the thermostat to ensure no stone left unturned. Very responsive and pleasant to deal with.

My elderly mum entrusted your services with her fridge and you never returned or contacted with follow up information.Price for call out quite high and left my mum high and dry waiting for a response. No real service was provided, only a 5min call out and no feedback as to how to fix her fridge. Leaving my mum down $179 and the cost of a new fridge. Very disappointing.

Was advised an appointment between 9-11, got a phone call saying 1030am which was fine, technician showed at 12pm. Had a broken seal in my washing machine causing a slow leak, technician was at my home for 5.5-6 hours for what I was advised a 30 minute job and had made my machine worse than what it was before the technician came as water was now gushing out flooding my laundry if turned on to test.. I had to cancel my work commitments which led to losing income. 2 technicians came out the following afternoon (one senior technician showing the same technician from the day before how to do the job) and it was fixed within 15 minutes. Not happy with the service and I wouldn’t recommend to my friends or family. Sorry.As the company edited their review to show my full name after already replying, definitely stand by my review. WILL NOT REFUND AS PROMISED !Repair guy called out for our leaking dishwasher and diagnosed a faulty hose which was replaced for $120 on top of the $175 call out fee however the hose did not solve the problem and it continued to leak when we tried the dishwasher that night. Repair guy came out about a week later and found a different problem that they wanted to charge $300 for a different part. I said not to replace the other part and asked for a refund for the $120 hose but the owner said he would not do that as now it was used !! - said he would refund half - 3 weeks and several phone calls later still no refund - NOT GOOD !I have sent you a message with bank details 4th October to make the refund but still no response?

Appears to be cheapest on the market but technician took 5min to diagnose issue, lured us into thinking easily repaired, told us the office would contact us to arrange pickup to workshop. If I didn't follow up two days later as I'd not heard from them, I would still be waiting. I was then told it was not economically viable to repair as spare parts and service cost close to new machine. They were very quick to charge the full call out fee for no help at all. Would not recommend.

Called with not much notice and they were out the following day.Had the issue fixed within 15 minutes no parts needed just the wealth of knowledge.Saved me upwards of $800 to buy another machine and the mess I would have left if I hit it with a sledgehammer!Thanks Fellas I will definitely be recommending you everywhere.
