Beauty At The Towers

*ATTENTION ALL MOTHERS*DO NOT get your daughters ears pierced here. The experience I had was absolutely horrific. I will not EVER return to this salon. The staff and the owner of the business are an absolute disgrace. My sister in law booked for my 11 month old daughters ears to be pierced, I held my daughter while my husband distracted her, we filmed the whole thing she did not move and somehow one of the girls, Jordyn, caught the side of her face with the gun as she pierced her ear, I will never forget the scream & cry that I heard it was like nothing I’d ever heard before (not even during immunisations) as I was breastfeeding my daughter to comfort her, Jordyn came in saying that som etimes this happens, it’s because your daughter moved, I said I’m not paying she said oh well I have to check with my boss. My mother in law took my son out of the room and as she was comforting him she looked behind the counter to see Jordyn laughing!! The girl who did the other side, Cass, came in and said of course you’re not paying for anything apologised profusely and asked if there was anything else she could do to help, the went through the aftercare and was genuinely caring and for that I am grateful. My sister in law called the owner, Samira, as she used to work for her at Castle Hill and she was extremely apologetic and said she would have her call me to apologise, she also said you can clearly see in the video that she was not concentrating. When Jordyn called to apologise she was sarcastic and not genuine, you could tell it was forced and she also said that she never blamed my daughter and takes full responsibility, she also denied saying that we may still have to pay. She was supposed to be apologising and instead took no responsibility for her actions saying it happens sometimes. This was not on the consent form and I was told it should not have happened by the owner. Samira then said she would have a meeting with her and that she would call to check on my daughter on the Saturday. No phone call. She sent me a text message on the following Monday to check in & told me that they will be providing more training to Jordyn. If that type of behaviour is allowed in their salon then obviously they have low standards for their therapists & no regard for the safety of their clients nor do they take complaints seriously. This is supposed to be a memorable moment and I can honestly say I will never forget it for all the wrong reasons.

Rosie waxed my eyebrows today and they look amazing! She was so lovely and took her time to make sure they were perfect!Thank you again!

We rang up on Easter Saturday to see if there was any possibility of getting my daughters (almost 3) ears pierced. We booked in for 2pm, we were warned that only one therapist would be available but was recommended to have 2, we were ok with only. We arrived at 1:45 to choose earrings. Jess was friendly and welcoming and put us all at ease so quickly. Jess was amazing through the process of marking our little girls ears and then piercing the first 1, was all smoothly done, and an easy process. Until the shock of what happened hit our little girl hard (which was to be expected)! Jess remained calm and was encouraging to our little girl, telling her how well she had done! We braces for the 2nd ear lol and Jess spoke to our little girl calming her and keeping her focused on the finished outcome. Jess quickly pierced the 2nd ear let her cry and then when she was calm enough asked our little girl if she would like her nails painted. Obviously a yes and so Jess kept her quiet, and still and paints her nails beautifully and was truely amazing.Jess is an asset to beauty at the towers. I am so disappointed that we live in SA as Jess was incredible! Highly recommend seeing Jess for all little girls piercing! Blown away by her child focused interactions and her professionalism! Her ability to keep parents and child calm is incredible! Thankyou 100% 10 stars!! Thankyou Jess!

I got both my girls ears pierced here yesterday. The staff were great, friendly and very professional. They did a great job and were very friendly and meticulous. I would have given 5 stars but I subtracted 1 star because I wasn’t allowed to film this very special moment. The staff member first said it was because she didn’t want their faces in it and I totally get this so I said well, I would zoom in just to my kids face and she can view this. She then said it was the policy of no filming. That’s fine too but you should tell us this at the time of booking. I would say most parents would want to film this. I would have called around and found a place was willing to let us film. I do love capturing those moments. I would suggest you just give us a heads up when booking and that way if it’s important to us we can shop around. Otherwise amazing and would highly recommend.. very clean and quick!

Jess is the best beauty therapist that there is! I have been going to her for eyebrow wax, tint, tans and lash lifts for years now and she never disappoints. I would highly recommend beauty at the towers for all your beauty needs.
