A beautifully decorated restaurant, with a great menu and lovely service. Had the fish and chips and strawberry sundae. Both did not disappoint. It's a busy area so parking can be difficult. Also on the expensive side. The dessert was similar price to the main.

Was staying at the Station House hotel for 2 weeks so I had the chance to eat at Sonny & Irene every morning.. and that’s definitely something I was looking forward to!I would recommend the avocado toast, halloumi and pea pancakes, all with the green juice. Also, they have good gluten free bread, which is not always the case!Staff is also very nice, although some of them more experienced than others.Only thing is that some seats should be reserved for hotel guests especially on weekends when it gets busy, otherwise you have to make the queue.

Went there on a Saturday morning, quite crowded. We waited 10min to be seated. The place itself is very nice, trendy decor (a lot of new venues have opened recently, using similar interior design - same interior agency maybe?) but very noisy. Service was great but my order got messed up since I asked for a scrambled egg croissant with bacon (which is not on the menu) and ended up with scrambled eggs only. Manager came and fixed the issue very quickly though. I will definitely give it another try, earlier maybe to avoid the crowd.

Lovely place to treat someone, perfect for a mothers day breakfast. The detail in the Décor is outstanding. Loved the smoothies, not just the tastes but presentation too. Food was very good and portions big. Will defo come back.So went back a month later with my wife. We had the 3 course winter special. Loved it! Good value for money too.

First visit, 4 people and 3 different dishes (salad menu). Decor is absolutely beautiful, lovely ambience and service was good. Also, the crockery is stunning. The food was just average and tasted blant and not good value for money. Coffee (Flat white) was brilliant though. Will give it another go some other time.

I stayed nearby so had breakfast here 3x & each time was excellent.All my food was really tasty, and perfectly cooked. They've got the classics as well as some innovative seasonal options (which is great!) + a great pastry selection. Service was great.They're a little more expensive than average - but the food is way better than average too :)

Sonny and Irene is beautifully decorated, with comfortable dining chairs and soft, ambient lighting. One does need to make a booking as it's a rather popular establishment. I had taken an elderly person for lunch and she unfortunately found the restaurant very noisy and I could barely hear my friend speak. Personally, I enjoy the vibrant energy, but I can understand that it might not be everyone's cup of tea. Our meals were well prepared, and they have an extensive cakes and pastry selection from their store next door, so save space for a dessert!
