Sea Star Accommodation @ Legend Golf and Safari Resort

Bianka and I had the opportunity to go on a safari this weekend. If you've never been on a safari, you probably don't know exactly how a game drive goes. Sure, you know you're going into the wild to look for animals, but you can't tell exactly what happens, mainly because it's never the same. And THAT is what makes the experience so compelling.Some trips were slower than others (meaning you didn't see many animals, or you saw some but they were sleeping), but we never returned to camp unsatisfied.It should be clear that on a safari you are not booking an apartment but going on a safari! I must therefore comment on the negative reviews that our focus was on the wildlife and we got with our apartment what we had booked: an unforgettable experience with several great game drives. Absolutely recommendable. 2-3 trips you should plan, however, already!

Great location, but Unprofessional, and the place hasn't been maintained in a few years.(On the day of our arrival he lets us know we're staying in a small room without a kitchen, because out of the blue, there is currently staying alot of people there for that last few day, and only bothered to let us know on the day we should arive..We paid a few weeks in advance for the villa)... we settled to go over our budget seeing we dont have to eat out 3 times a day.... his solution to us ons our first night there in regarding with food was you can get somthing on the way

Horrible, we ended up leaving. The Legends have been without power from Friday, arrived Saturday 23rd Oct, to a room with no power- only to be met by a rude manager Andrew who initially threatened us that we should be refunded without explaining anything about the power situation.

There was a power outage in the area and we had no power for a whole day. However, the manager by the name Andrew went out of his way to make sure we were settled and had things sorted for us. He also went beyond by arranging for us a game drive which was really amazing!I suggest if one visits the place to be prepared in terms of firewood and charcoal because there are few things that wont be in control like loadshedding etc..

We had the most terrible experience with very poor hosting from our host Andrew who was by no means professional, making us wait well after check in, we were in the room when he brings pillow covers to put on the pillows, false advertising and the images on bookings. Com do not by any means reflect the poor state of the rooms, the ceilings were all covered in black mould the taps were loose with no pressure the pathways over grown, the light switches were not working the aircon did not work there was no wifi as they advertised there would be. Over all pathetic from Sea Star Accommodation.

I've never been disappointed like I was upon arrival. Firstly it took us forever to find the reception and on top of that we were informed that there are no activities on the premises even though when advertised they mentioned a few. Power went off and couldn't get hold of the manager (Andrew) for some time and when we eventually got hold of him, he couldn't provide a clear explanation and they do not have a backup generator. This was not worth the money we paid for. The river is filthy and there is nothing to do on site, they are falsely advertising the placeWe are NEVER coming back........

Because the guy so called Andrew(manager) he was supposed to give us Villa then, he gave us Luxurious he never payed us back till today the difference was R3000....the place doesn't have Generator on terms of loadshedding

The accommodation is probably the lowest charged accommodation at the legend resort but there’s definitely a catch.1. Before booking, kindly call and ask for the WhatsApp number. Network is a nightmare here, you won’t always find the agent.2. I recommend booking during summer and spring , the greenery makes the place look better3. The number that is listed here is for the key holder, he is unprofessional, but helpful when you request for any further assistance.4. We were given suite 182 c , which looked better than the rest of the other suites.5. Our suite was clean and beautiful but the property is not well maintained. It needs some love for it to be a perfect getaway place.6. Suite 182c has one of the most amazing Mountain View7. The water is very salty and you can see that it damages their showers and tubs. Their shower looked like it was dirty from all the salt from the water, specially on black tile.
