Blast Music

Henk was a pleasure to work with. We had only 1 meeting before our wedding and immediately clicked. He understood our music tastes as well as the ambiance we were aiming to create at our wedding. The lighting was done perfectly and the dry ice which wasn't requested, but warmly received, did bring a special element to our first dance. As a couple with very specific music tastes, a list of music was provided as well as time frame for the type of music to be played during tie evening. Henk didn't deviate from the music sheet nor was he coerced by guests into playing music that was on the not allowed Playlist. He was professional, polite and created a well enjoyed evening. I had many guests asking for the Playlist as well as stating they thoroughly enjoyed the music. I would definitely recommend Blast music for your next event.

Had the worst experience ever with the Blast!! After our skype meeting 2 weeks before the wedding I said to the owner Henk that I work with unprofessional dj's in my industry and that on my Wedding day I would want the best in the industry! My walk in song was WRONG!! Not only was it the wrong song but the sound was terrible!!! After the DJ played the song for our first dance the DJ played the wrong song not once, not twice but THREE times!! None of our songs was downloaded but played from a phone from a broken auxiliary cable!! We phoned the owner Henk the Monday after the Wedding when he said that after the Honeymoon we will meet up and discuss everything. After 9 messages that he ignored we have decided that we need to write this review to share our experience so that no Bride nor Groom will go through this disappointment !!

The level of utter rage and disappointment cannot be described. My wedding was on the 1st of April this year. Due to loackdown the wedding was postponed from last year to this year and we still stuck with this company. Our DJ provided to us for our wedding was absolutely shocking and unprofessional. While I was waiting outside the Chapple to walk down the isle, he was standing out side staring at me instead of playing the cue music. My maid of honor came to tell him to play the music and he argued with her. He then proceeded to get all of our other songs wrong, our entrance song and all the speech songs were not played. When he was told that the songs were incorrect or not being played he argued with us. This was after we had a Skype meeting with him and we gave him a detailed schedule with a play list of all the songs. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.

NEVER USE THIS GUY!!!. Utterly and shockingly Disappointed!My daughter got married 6 Nov 2021 at Green Leaves after postponing twice due to C19. We had to complete lists of preferred  songs and artist etc which were not used once during the evening.  After begging and asking and sending people to ask him to ask that the mob is asking to please do what was requested he got sarcastic.  We literally begged him and the response was ok I'll do it now and never did and eventually got rude and sarcastic. Never even played requests which guests went to ask him.  He had a Playlist in auto play. I was so close of literally getting physical with this guy as all mothers want an awesome time for their daughters wedding. Guests even asked me can't the dj please change the music.  Not one song which we had on the dance floor favorites were played.  Weddings are expressive and your dj should be one of the most important aspects to compete the full day and this was so disappointing!

Our sincere appreciation for the DJ service that Henk provided. As one of Kloofzicht Lodges' recommended DJ suppliers, it was reassuring knowing that we were in good hands and Henk did not disappoint. From the time we signed the DJ contract, Blast Entertainment provided the highest quality of customer service and the song execution was according to brief.All wedding guests had a wonderful and memorable time!

Wow what an amazing team! Booked blast Entertainment for our wedding this past weekend and they blasted us away!Not having the time to meet up with the crew, I emailed YouTube links to the team of the songs we wanted, and I must say, they got them right! They where absolutely wonderful!I would recommend them to anyone for any event as they really are such an amazing team, the DJ was super friendly and they went beyond themselves to make our day special!Keep up the amazing work guys!!!!

WARNING!!!! Do not book these people as your wedding DJ they advertise packages including things like haze effect for your first dance, intelligent lighting which are lights that supposedly dance to the beat of your music, they ask you for your list of favourite artists and songs but end up playing songs like mambo number 5 and macarena??? I am disgusted and appalled by the owners behaviour, when you call him he promises to respond to your emails, and when you do tell him that you would rather sort it out on the phone he simply puts that phone down in your ear. I sent an email the very next day after my wedding and it's been over a month and still no response or apology whatsoever. Being a preferred supplier" on a venues list would make you think that you could trust them but you simply cannot. They are very quick to respond when you want to give them the business

What an excellent experience we had with Blast. Thank you so much to Henk for making our special day a BLAST!!!Definitely recommend for any wedding. He reads the crowd and adjust the music accordingly. The sound was truly excellent, the lighting was so beautiful. Everything ran accordingly to plan even with our last minute changes.Not only is your service professional, but your such a cool guy too. If we could rate more we would have.

Had the best experience ever with Blast Music and Henk, they did a sensational job at my wedding.There was not a single bad song played the whole night and I got so many compliments from all my guests on the great song choices played throughout the evening.
