I approached them with my claim over a month ago, I had followed up and checked with my broker, and they didn't get back to me. now after a month they are saying they reject my claim because it happened over time, even though when I approached them it was a small thing. they have terrible service, they will say they wont pay anything, and they are not helpful at all! you would do better to save your money and just pay for the things yourself

In 20years dealing with insurance comapanies...Worst!!! insurance company ever COMPLETE!!! CROOKS!!! they will always find a reason or excuse to do you out of money when a claim is made

1 star is quite a high rating...the claim process has been nothing short of painful. After sending 3 emails to the contact person and not getting a response I decided to call their offices and I was told she has resigned. 2 weeks later I called again and the very same person whom I was told has resigned and also not responding to my emails answered the phone...she does not know why I was told she resigned and surprisingly she did not get my emails either even though non bounced back and we confirmed the email address is correct.....WE WAIT AGAIN

All great until you get to the claims part. Office ladies are terribly rude and unhelpful and make sure you are a big company as I feel they value those much more than small business owners. Will let you drive around for months in a dangerous vehicle whilst you wade through the red tape of actually getting anything fixed! So what then is the point of insurance ??

Been with them over 20 year, never claims anything, last year my house got broke in and we submitted the claim, waited 6 month and they refused my claim, been paying over R8000 a month and the result are this, my whole family and friend move all our policy away from CIB they are the worst insurance company in SA, even my broker says they have move most they clients away from CIB, hope the review will help someone planning sign up with CIB.

Asking for documents over and over. Its clear they looking for a way out of paying the R4500 claim by delaying the process. Judging from the bad reviews and dishonest conduct mentioned in the reviews I don't have any hope of bring paid out the 3rd party claim. Hopefully all their clients will take their business elsewhere. Don't beelive any good reviews of this company.
