Very disappointed. Bad service and they do not know the meaning of Customer Care.Be warned! If you own a Volvo and need repairs or a service, I would not recommend that anybody take their vehicle to Green Line Auto. I took my vehicle, a Volvo XC90, T6 to Green Line Auto in November 2018 for a diagnosis as the engine light came on. They cleaned the Air Mass sensor and replaced the air filter - R2117. 3 Days later, the engine light came back on again. The following week I took my vehicle back to fix the error and to repair the leak of the water bottle for the windshield. Green Line Auto ordered an Airflow sensor from Midrand which was the wrong part. The engine light was then reset but the water bottle still leaked when I got my car back.On November 28, I instructed Shaun at Green Line Auto to order from Volvo's an Air Mass sensor. It would take about two weeks and they would have paid for it. On the 30th November, I visited Green Line Auto again to reset the engine light and I also paid them an amount of R4900 for the Air Mass sensor.I contacted the Volvo dealer (CMH) on the 11th of December to follow up on this order by Green Line Auto. They could not find such an order and explained to me the process prior to ordering any parts. They will first get a quote and if accepted by the client, a payment has to be made in advance before processing any orders. I confronted Shaun with this and he confirmed to me that they do not order parts from the parts division. I left it there. On the 15th of December my car started to misfire and I took the car back to Green Line Auto on the 13th December. They replaced a Coil pack at number 5 piston as well as the Air Mass Sensor they received from Volvo. I paid R450.00 for that. No job card was issued or an invoice given to me for payment. I was not informed at any time that their work and or the parts fitted, contain a guarantee. Needless to say the water bottle was still not repaired.Three days later, the engine light came back on again and I started to doubt whether they had in fact ordered the part from Volvo and whether they had replaced the right part. I asked Shaun to provide me with copies invoices of the Air Mass and Coil he ordered from Volvo. He stated that the invoices are in his father's bakkie and they are on holiday and would only be back on the 7th of January. At no stage did he confirm to me that there was a guarantee on their job and that I must bring my vehicle back to them to sort out the problem. To make a long story short, I decided to take my vehicle to a Volvo dealer. Their finding was that the inlet pipe to the air filter had a leak and had to be replace. It cost me R4742.60 but they also diagnosed a fault with the Air Mass Sensor. The fact is that the damaged inlet pipe was previously repaired by somebody else but it was visible to Green Line Auto who couldn't identify the problem and address the issue. Green Line Auto?s diagnosis was therefore not correct and the problem was right in front of their eyes to see.The end of the story was that I had to take the car back to Volvo to replace the Air Mass Sensor and it cost me R6700 to replace the part which was fitted by Green Line Auto. My advice to you is to get a second opinion or take your car to a repairer specializing in the type of vehicle you own. The fact that they are RMI does not mean that they will stand by their clients through thick and thin. Think twice before you take your vehicle to them as you might just end up disappointed as I am.

I took my vehicle in to have the cambelt replaced. Something went wrong and I received it back after four days. It was never the same as when I took it there - enjin was noisy, difficult to start and it could not idle properly (this was never an issue before). Shaun came to fetch the vehicle again to try and fix. It was slightly better but still not like it used to be. Although it is true that they are cheaper with their quotes than other mechanics I will not recommend them to other people. Rather pay more and get the job done properly.

Green Line Auto provides good quality service and repairs of motor vehicles. They accept all vehicles makes/models .Their rates are competitive and they offer a fair warranty.Even though their workshop is quite small, they make use of the floor space wisely to accommodate more vehicles.Oom Danie is like a car-veterinary"

Be careful. Car came back worse than it went in. All of a sudden the car struggled to start (was never an issue before). But they will give me a quote to fix it (actually still waiting for that as well). Because they don't understand how new cars work, if they did they would have know what the issue is and not uhmm and ahhh when asked. Also they charge double the cost of service parts. Specifically said not to make any changes unless the consult me, well they replaced a R650 cabin filter (that you can get for R350) without mentioning it. Safe yourself the effort and just go to Bosch from the start.
