Unable to get hold of the store manager. Staff refuse to escalate a matter to him. Unable to contact them via phone as they do not answer. Very poor 'customer service'

Really unhappy with the quality of clothes in the ladies section.All of my clothes that I have bought from the h&m ladies section have either gotten lint after their first wash or even while I was wearing them for the first time.I am really dissapointed.

Amazing store with a great range of clothing.They always have the latest clothing put on their shelves.

Received terrible service from the current manager and his teller assistant. I went in to exchange a garment on the 22 December 2021 and upon producing the receipt the teller stated she requires a receipt. So here i am saying to her several times in English ..here it is and she says its not the correct one. She was a pregnant lady with vast attitude. The queue behind me was extremely long and here she was annoying me. I walked away to a quieter area and viewed the receipt only to see that it was the correct one. I go back to her and ask for the manager and he is just as blatant. Without even looking at my receipt he point blank states -NO WE CANNOT ASSIST. At this stage i was quite livid and i raised my voice in the store at him. Then he looked at it and agreed to help me. I mean a renouned facility as H&M to have staff like this representing the company is an utter shame!!!!. To add to my misery the teller adds in her comments by clicking her tongue and speaking in Zulu. This is not acceptable behaviour and should never be allowed. There was gentleman in front of me as well that could not find what he was looking for and he asked the very same teller to call another branch and check and she point blank refused!!!!!i mean seriously--the clothing there dont come cheap and to receive this service was nothing but pathetic and appalling. I suggest the store chooses staff that are competent and that fit the category of being an effective manager who has skill and finesse when dealing with people. I will never visit that store again. Uterly disappointed!!

Visited H&M only for kids clothing and ladies shoes. The shoe department was so drab and a waste of time. The kids clothing had much bigger variety. But the Gateway branch is better. Good lighting, clean and neat. Overall I was disappointed.

They need to get more people to assist with the tills queues are getting longer every visit.

Tried calling the store to find out if they have stock of an item I previously bought, no one would answer the phone. I am 150 km away. I'm not going to waste fuel going to the store to find no stock.

Terrible service, I went to return a gift that was the wrong size, I had the receipt and the tag but they refused to take it back because they said it was dirty and possibly worn. It was bought like that and I had everything needed to return it but they made such a fuss and argued with customers. I don’t recommend the H&M at pav and they need better customer service. Pathetic

This shop has a good selection of clothing.They have split the store in to two seperate stores for gents and ladies.They get 4 stars for value for money and the fact that it is a really attractive looking store. But the staff let them down.The security guard was leaning on a clothing rack playing on his phone. There was no one manning the fitting rooms and when we got to the check out there was no one in site. After waiting around with not a sole in site besides the half alseep security my wife found a checkout in the ladies section next door.Overall pleasant experience but staff need better training.

Great selection & reasonably priced too!
