We had a fantastic stay at African Lion Lodge - truly a piece of heaven!Emrie and WD are great hosts and Bertha went the extra mile in ensuring we have a pleasant stay. Good pricing, well located and the zoo is just up the road. Fresh and tasty food, great entertainment area, pond, events/function deck, boma-braai area, dining area, well stocked bar and TV/lounge room. Spacious, clean and comfortable sleeper units, bottled water and a great encounter with the lions. Great for families and small groups.

What an amazing experience!! We enjoyed it more than the kids!! Beautiful lions, leopards and tigers! Big variety of monkeys! Staff was awesome and gave us a personalized tour! We played with a baby chimp and lion cubs! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

What an amazing experience!Be sure to pack in comfortable shoes. The large enclosures for the big cats are very refreshing sight. The animals seems welled cared for and there is a wild variety which will keep your attention.

Very nice place. Clean and well maintained. Only downside was the interaction with the cubs. You pay a fee and they let the kids in. The lady inside does not help or make the kids feel comfortable. She stands on her phone.minding her own business. Does not offer to take a photo of helping the kids.

What a fantastic, well kept zoo. Definitely worth the visit. The monkeys have a great sense of humor! Albino Lions and Tigers were great to see.

Visited this Zoo more than once. Beautiful place enjoyed watching the animals, animals are well kept and looked after, not too far from Pretoria. Food and drinks available at their restaurant in case you get hungry or Thirsty.

Was very nice experience the day that we were there it was stupid hot. You can see that the animals are well taken care of. The people working there are very friendly and make jokes as well and you can see that they enjoy working with the animals. The cub interactions was amazing and they do give you hand wash for afterwards as well. Remember that these are still wild animals do not tempt them.

We went as a school for an excursion. The animals and the park is amazing but the people who do the tour through the park is very uneducated and have no knowledge about the animals they show around. We were rushed through the park and I really expected more. Mystic Monkeys can really put in more effort in the quality of the tours. Also welcoming of guests needs attention.

Absolutely stunning zoo. Exceptionally clean, from the grounds to the enclosures all in immaculate condition. The animals are all very well looked after and healthy. The wide variety of animals are such a treat and playing with tiger cubs were a once in a lifetime experience for us. We visited the zoo while on our mini-moon, and we would highly recommend it.
