Absolutely PHENOMENAL experience! We were keen to try popular Lookout Deck, but opted to skip the 2 hour wait and eat at Equinox instead - very pleasantly surprised! Delicious quality food & great service, reasonable prices especially for a restaurant this gorgeous! The manager Natasha slotted us in after a cancelled reservation with a lovely table right on the beach. Excellent view! Thanks for making date night, Equinox!

It's connected with the Lookout, but aiming for a more upmarket feel. The location is good, being right on the beach, with a modern design to the place. The food is fair, with good ingredients, although it was perhaps slightly oversold by the menu. The starters were a strong point and the main courses were decent, just slightly ordinary, with underwhelming side dishes. Service was a little limited but they were putting in a lot of effort, which deserves credit (they probably just need a bit more practice and exposure to good service at other establishments to get a better sense of what to aim for).

One of the most beautiful restaurants! I have only been once and I’m dying to go to equinox again! It is so beautiful, great setting for a romantic evening out! The wine list is very impressive and the food is top notch! I only have compliments for the Chef! Perfect portion size to have a starter as well! Amazing flavors and detail!They do a set menu on Sundays amazing value for money!

Great tasting food, small portions though, cocktails are either a hit or a miss, depending on who makes it I guess... They also need more staff, had one poor waiter running between over 10 tables.. made service quite slow. Atleast you have a good view while you wait

We arrived without a table reservation and asked what they had for vegetarians. The chef said he'd create something and 20 minutes later the most incredible vegetarian platter for two arrived (see photo).The chef here really knows how to cook. Best food we've had in South Africa in two weeks. Good value too.
