Beware if scammers calling to tell you owe outstanding traffic fines. They pressure you to quickly go and draw cash as their speedpoint is out of order. Just tell them you dont have any money and they leave you alone soon enough.

Rather go to Centurion. I actually want to give ZERO stars on this review because of the USELESSNESS at this place. Corruption everywhere. Everyone wants a bribe in order to just do their job.Honestly, I don't understand how we all put up with this incompetent and mediocre efforts?? It's because 30% is a pass✅

The queues weren't too long and one got helped pretty quickly. Sadly the payments took a bit longer due to a slow system. The ablutions were reasonably clean except there is no access to the handicapped toilets as it was locked.Security cameras around the main building dont work, with one even having a wasp nest on it. So security is a bit lacking.Staff are helpful and friendly.

Not too bad an experience, but not that clean, and too many helpers" that purport to have contacts on the inside. I did not use these "helpers" but was able to get everything done in good time."

Very nearly got scammed out of my phone and R2000 by the guys hanging around at the center. They act very official and they greet everyone there by name, so they obviously do this regularly. They got my phone number from the forms I filled out and called me while I was waiting outside, impersonating the officials inside. They spun me a story about how I had outstanding fines that had to be paid cash (because the card system was down due to load shedding problems). I went to draw the money but I luckily had problems with the ATM, so I went back to the center and spoke to someone who was actually working behind the counter inside the center. They confirmed that I had no outstanding fines and that the guys outside were scammers, and that I only had to pay R228 for the license renewal and R72 for a temporary drivers license. DON'T give your phone to anyone at the center and DON'T pay anyone cash. There are signs everywhere inside the center indicating that they only accept card payments - BELIEVE THE SIGNS! The people who actually work in the center were all very helpful and friendly.

Well went there twice ....two days in a row ..time is not a factor for them.....yesterday got treated like dirt guy irritated....then got failed with eye test. I told him the machine is faulty. Left went to an optometrist to do a proper eye test. So go back today...once again only one person at the eye testing you can give your eye test in there but unfortunately he have to take you picture here for renewal of your license. So only 1 person on duty then 2. The system they working on don't work. The only gentleman working there was the guy in cubical 4 today. (Coloured gentleman) Around 30/40 waiting. No 1 cubical was in and out. No 2 was serving people out of office and bring them in then leave again. The rude one went out for a smoke and never returned. No 3Never again will I go back there. The place need a upgrade. And sufficient staff that can give customer service.

I had to get a police clearance from them, and even thought the place looks a bit wild(meters high grass, but busy getting cut) and you have to dodge some shady characters, I was helped in less than an hour. Staff was mostly helpfull, the catch here is to try and find out what you need to bring document-wise.(no really good info anywhere) the rest is quick and easy.

Alot of scammers at the place. Person dressed as one of the workers helped me with getting a copy of ID. When I had everything ready he told me to wait outside and he will come get me. When he came out he said I had a fine that was not paid. When I told him he was lying and I want my documentation back he went back in and gave it back but when I looked to see if everything was inside my ID photos where stolen. He then dissapeared when I looked for him.

Standard government institution. Staff can be friendlier, efficiency can be improved, anyway no surprises.

The worst place! . My daughter went for a driver's lisence and was treated badly by the instructor.He was menacing from the start, threatening to fail her before test because she left ID in car but had copy.The instructor tricked her into turning into no entry path in order to go to the test ground. The no entry sign is hidden and is not on both sides. She failed right there before going to do the test. He was hostile and unfriendly. That was Friday 9th.Today Monday 12th, she passed at Midrand. The place is chilled and staff is friendly. The instructor praised her driving and K53 obedience. I saw many people passing in Midrand, unlike Waltloo which likes bribes and has annoying runners all over
