Tarang School of Dance

Thanks very much #TARANG School Of Dance. I really enjoyed the Arangetram function and to be a part of the performance. Thanks Teacher Deepa Prasant for Teaching me Mohiniyattam and Bharatanatyam in an admirable manner especially Mohiniyattam with that flow. I never thought I can learn that flow of Mohinitattam at this age and thanks for facilitating to achieve that. I received  a lot of compliments from others who watched the dance and they got inspired.

Congratulations to the students of Tarang dance school on the high achievements attained at the SA Dance Championshis 2018. This to me is a direct translation of the talent, dedication, passion and hard work Deepa has and puts into her students. Well done!

@Shobhi, I had a look at your performance and it was amazing. What is even more amazing is that the school that taught you done so via Skype. This really shows the quality of the school and facilitators. I wish I could have been there to see it in person. Well done Shobhi, Tarang and all dancers. Everything was fantastic!

Deepa is a very good dancer and dedicated teacher. She is strict with the fundamentals and her choreography is always elegant. I would definitely recommend her class to people.

Amazing school with an extremely talented teacher.

What an amazing experience it was learning Indian dancing with Deepa at Tarang School of Dance! I had never danced a step of this style of dancing and within a year I performed with a group of beautiful dancers at India Day in Johannesburg! I will never forget the incredible costume and the love given to me by the team. I was older and a different culture and they welcomed me and made me part of their team. Deepa is a strong, kind and patient teacher. She instils belief in her students and never lets you give up - yet never pushes you too hard! A remarkable teacher! A truly remarkable experience! I am forever grateful!

Teacher constantly arrives late for class. Does not finish on time.
