Our Luggage were carried to our beautiful airconditioned comfortable tent. Amazing attention to detail, comfortable king size bed with a great view of the bushveld. Excellent lodge and perfect location for a relaxing getaway from Johannesburg. We highly recommend Thulani Game lodge and eco estate and will definitely be back. Keep it up guys you are doing amazing work!

The perfect break from the hustle and bustle of life, in general. It is not far to drive and is tranquility at its best. Stunning views, private and peaceful. Wonderful experience in the bush just what one needs to get away from everything that is going on . From the moment you enter the gate you begin to relax and start looking out for game. The Thulani lodge is outstanding and the accommodation is well appointed having everything you need for a wonderful weekend.The staff and Rodney the owner, go beyond expectations to ensure that your stay is a memorable one in every way possible. Spent a week at Thulani, with several colleagues, as part of a business trip. What a great place to stay! All of the rooms" are a little different

This is a 5star Lodge, the service is absolutely amazing. The owners is incredible warm and wonderful checking that you are treated in the best way. The hostess made sure that my food was absolutely within my Keto lifestyle as I preferred it, and was deliciously prepared, most of all it was wonderful for the eyes to look at, even my breakfast was done in a most amazing stylish way. I was supplied with my lifestyle of beverages. The Chalet, most amazing look, the 2 aircons in the room were amazing helping with the heat and it felt like heaven on such a warm day. The luxurious room, with chairs and a table for working were excellent, the bedding, linen and toweling, first class. Your TV experience is like being at home. The bathroom something I will always think back on, separated by a wall from your toilet, man oh, man! This is a place to go, outside you have a warm jacuzzi, few areas to sit down under a lapa, with the most bushveld atmosphere you can not imagine. I do not want to forget the shower outside and the tiles and artwork that went into all of the planning of it. The braai area, the lapa area, the stoop area, the decking, the scenery as you look out of your windows inside and out is an out of the world experience. From the minute you stop, until the minute you go, the service standard did not drop once. The security of the farm gives you peace of mind. When you enter the gate and drive into the farm you are surrounded with the most beautiful, beauty, of everything is so clean and neat. The roads are lovely to drive on, also so very neat and comfortable. Most of all the directions is very clear, and can take you right to where you need to be. I personally did not experience such a lovely atmosphere at a lodge or any holiday place than what I have experienced at Thulani Game Lodge. You have to go, and experience it for yourself!

Won’t see me again.Don't go there if it is work related trip. A weekend away I could consider if the room was clean.I had to bag Rodney for more than a week to get an invoice. I gave him my work email address, private email address and also suggested that he send it through on WhatsApp, still I had to call and bag for it.Other issues:- I came back from work late at night and the lights were switched on the walkway from the parking lot to the room. It was quite dark and scary- The thatch is not properly sealed - while having dinner something that looks like a squirrel found its way inside the room- Breakfast very limited. Scramble egg, sausage, 1 bacon strip- No wifi / mobile networkAfter numerous calls and WhatsApp messages I eventually received the invoice, however it was not showing some of the basic information - there was only 1 line saying accommodation and meals. I requested additional information to be included on the invoice, like check-in and check-out date, separate line for accommodation and lastly also separate line for meals. I did not receive any feedback and I am actually not going to bother contacting them (Rodney) again.

Don't be fooled by the pics, the place is old and poorly managed. Poor signage to properly direct to the place as you lose network in the area, gate was not attended to, we had to wait for a long while before we could be allowed in. Food is bad and overpriced. The worst part is when we were checking out, a lady spoke to the receptionist over the walkie talkie stating that we are trying to leave the place without paying the bill, that time we were present at the reception hearing all this. Even after the receptionist told her over 3 times that we are with her, the lady didn't seem convinced. Poor and discriminative service on that.
