Wow, what a beautiful campsite 4 kilos outside the karoo town of Vredendal. Ideal stay over in the flower season of the karoo. No load shedding daytime as they provide electricity from the butchers generators. Butchery and shop on the premises. Amazingly economical campsite.

Wonderful camp site. Shaded sites, large lawns, power, water included. VERY reasonable prices. You can camp for as many days or months as you like. Excellent butchery very close by. Great for persons who wish to do some wild flower sight-seeing come end July till September. Feels like home.

They are a great butchery with top quality fresh products and you can also get various home made goods here as well as every day necesities and great braai wood. Their home made ginger beer, jam and biltong are something to write home about.
