Restaurants are good but the toilets must be the worst in the Kloof Hillcrest area.The owners of the complex are challenged to use either the ladies or gents. Disgusting and unhygienic!

@eat_3603 is a new restaurant situated in the old Post Office building in Gillitts. Serving breakfast, brunch and lunch 7 days a week. Dinner from Wednesday - Saturday.

Gillitts Shopping Centre is situated just off the M13, between exit 26 and exit 28 on Old Main Road behind the Caltex Garage. A number of destination stores including Lady Jane Adult Retail Store, Creative Bathrooms and Plumbing Suppliers, CDT Trailer and Tool Hire, Inky Mosaicing, Quo Fine Dining Restaurant, Curl Up and Dye Hair Dressers, Get Fit Gym and Harties Liquors.

Bit of crime in the area in the past... Mostly burglaries though, from what I recall. Still very active and a cool cute centre. I love going there to support the offbeat local enterprises.

It's a sociable spot with 4 restaurants around a tree in the courtyard. Also a computer shop, Lady Jane for lingerie & related toys, a bottle store & butchery. Entertaining while car is at the car wash below.

Didn't really have time to stay, but first impressions were okay. I had the best ginger tea today at Takami sushi bar. Otherwise not much to do here.
