My husband has been driving a Mercedes Benz since I have known him, which is 13 years now and and we have recently experienced the worst service/ support from Mercedes Sandton ever.His vehicle has been in the repair shop for over 3 months now awaiting spare parts. We do not receive any updates from the maintenance department on the arrival of the spare part unless we call them and the time of arrival for the spare part keeps on changing. This is beyond frustrating as we need to continue paying our monthly installment on the vehicle but without the use of it.Mercedes Benz South Africa has offered us a rental car but with an excess insurance payment of R70 000.00 should something happen to the vehicle. Absolutely crazy. The the vehicle they offered at R70 000.00 excess is way lower model then what we currently drive.This is definitely not the care and support that we expect from such an international brand and we are very disappointed in Mercedes BenzWe will definitely think twice before buying another Mercedes Benz again.

Worst service ever , last year they tried to kill my wife by not putting back the bolt in the tyre . Now I have been waiting 7 weeks for a part that was promised would arrive on the 3rd of June , if I don’t call no one cares so you will sort yourself out. I regret buying a Mercedes Benz or is the dealer the problem. I have bad experience every-time I take my car in to the sandton branch. I would not recommend anyone to buy nor service from you. Rightfully you don’t deserve any stars

I sent my AMG in to Mercedes Sandton early December, there was an issue with the Prop shaft and they are ordering a new one. It has now heading to month 4 that I have not seen my vehicle. All I am told is there was a system migration and that they cannot track exactly where this part is in transit and they cannot tell me anything further and I will have to wait…. 3 months down!I do understand a system change however there has to be a way to manually intervene to find out where the part is eg. Call the Part supplier? Surely it is not good enough to just tell customers you know nothing. My problem has already been 3 months, this could be what?.... 6 months/ 1 Year?I do appreciate the VW that you have rented for me (which I am also paying adhoc monthly rental fees and a deposit held), even newer than my Mercedes and packed with features however I am a MERCEDES AMG customer right? Eventually even a free VW is not cutting it right?I also called Mercedes benz SA, received the same feedback and that I will be contacted weekly however I have never received a single call from them or from the dealership on their own will. The only communication is when I personally make contact and then get them to call me back as you also never get through to anybody once. Imagine how this vehicle will be after already 3 months of not starting? Surely this is going to lead to further problems down the line.Honestly very disappointed, I also work for customers and we simply do not treat them like this, we cannot blame system issues (same message from January) for not being able to update customers on their own property.

I have had the worst experience i have ever received in any car dealership, not sure if its because they are now under Motus, but the customer service has gone from excellent to non existent, my car has been with them from the 3rd April for a water pump replacement and some pipes, long story short...its the 14t April and i still don't have my car, i do all the calling, they don't call back, they don't update, they don't answer their phones at all...worst service advisor ever!

Utterly useless - would give 0 stars if I could.They had my car for 8 days and gave me no feedback. I emailed, called, left messages, etc.No one gets back to you.This is actually the second time in 2 months that I have exactly the same experience.I was given a quote the first time but then couldn’t get the repairs done because their systems were down as they were upgrading it.So when I wanted the work to be done later they couldn’t find the quote.After sharing a copy with them they still insisted I bring the vehicle in again and wanted to charge me diagnostic fees again.They told me they fixed my aircon the first time but it didn’t work at all.Now I have to wait for another week or two for parts.Parts that they could have ordered a long time ago.Absolutely horrendous service.

Took my car there for a service . Really nice facility . They make you sign about 20 times and the processing of queues waiting for attendance early mornings is a really unacceptable experience. Collection of one’s vehicle is equally annoying. I waited almost 1 hour after being called before that to say my car was ready to be collected. This is NOT what I would expect from Mercedes Benz

I booked my car in for a service on 13/01/2023. Arrived in the morning and they couldn’t find my booking, after waiting for almost 30 mins I was attended to and vehicle booked in. At this point I’m late for work and had to Uber as their lift service wasn’t running optimally due to load shedding (still find this confusing). I eventually got a call at around 2pm and was told my vehicle couldn’t be attended to because they didn’t have the parts required ! I was angered by this as I had already been heavily inconvenienced for something that was a waste of my time. It is now a month later, my vehicle is almost 3000km out of service and apparently there are still no parts and I am always awaiting for call backs. I’m very frustrated and feel that the current situation puts my life at risk and is not what one would expect from a luxury brand such as Mercedes’.
