Ellis Park Swimming Pool

A disgrace. The pool has been vandalized, equipment stolen and the pools have been left to stagnate. This was the case earlier in the year when it was still accessible. Since then locked with no public notices as to when or if the pool will ever be available again to citizens. No accountability. A stain on the council

Great place especially for kids just that it gets over crowded

Very run down since I last been there 20 years ago. Green at moment but maybe in full summer it looks different.

The service is not what I expected, the reception people are slow and we could do with another pool just so that we don't swim with kids as adults

A beautiful well maintained Olympic public pool. There are options for using the unmarked end of the pool which is relatively affordable to attend and the other end with marked lanes reserved for season ticket holders and private lane use. There are 3 other pools, a kiddies pool, a pool reserved for galas and a diving pool. The place is manned by lifeguards who are always alert and making sure people stick to their designated areas. There is a small parking area just outside the pool enough to accommodate approximately 30 vehicles. There is also a fast food place where the attendant there is very helpful, serves with a smile. What stood out for me are the chips, very fresh and mouth watering. The only downside is the pool closes for public use when the are events such as galas in the pool or matches in the stadium.

Visited Sports and Recreation Ellis Park , very helpful staff spoke with Mr Sizwe handed my presentation for the holiday tournament. Look forward in hearing from him

Old facilities still kicking.Change rooms need an overhaul.Olympic swimming pool is excellent. Plenty of lanes and not so busy during the week.R15 entrance was worth the fee.Next door to the Emirates stadium.Secure enough parking outside the swimming arena.Pitty the high diving boards are no longer there.
