Neat and clean and has what was promised. Bit of a strange room layout with shower toiled almost part of the Kitchen. Finding keys was difficult. Handover person did not answer a phone and as the key pickup point was closed up. It was only by rattling the gate and getting the dogs barking we managed to rouse the key giver.Also the trainline is very close and the trains sound their hooters as they go past. Gets a bit noisy.

This place is definitely worth a visit. The owners are super friendly and helpful.We stayed in the cabin, which had a cosy fireplace that helped keep us warm and comfortable during the Dullstroom winter.The interior is new, well looked after and exceptionally clean.Kliphuisjes is only a couple minutes walk from the main strip in Dullstroom, but also far enough away for some peace and quiet.Thank you very much for an amazing time.

Enjoyed our stay.Don't recommend the valentine room if you are looking for a romantic weekend away... although it is stunning it is connected to another unit. We had a family with two kids next to us....Not ideal when going away alone without kids for the first time in 2 years...Only mentioning this as we specifically asked for a stand alone unit.Other than that it was stunning.

Wouldn't stay there again. Firstly the lady who gives you the keys doesn't tell anyone there is an alarm or how to activate or deactivate it. All 3 of us that checked in within an hour of each other set our alarms off so she told no one who checked in and some alarms went off for ages. The walls are paper thin so you hear everything (the bedtime sounds were interesting to say the least). The little patio has a view onto the parking lot so you wouldn't use it. The inside is dark, the place is dirty: carpets, dishes oily etc (linen was clean), TV on wall too small for the space and too far from the bed where you have to watch it from. Awkward kitchenette and facilities and not well designed or laid out. Very noisy with the units right on the carpark area. No cupboard, just an open space in the bathroom to hang a few things. Did not enjoy it al att and very expensive for what they offer.

Beautiful views but still close to town. Love the atmosphere and the Klip Cottage is beautifully decorated and lives up to all our expectations. What a lovely place and we will definitely visit 3 times a year.

Beautiful property lovingly kept. We stayed in Valentine on our way through Dullstroom and received a friendly welcome after a long day on the road. A blessed relief to have slept in the beautiful new Stargazer suite on our travels back through Bots and Zambia. Highly recommended!

Was one of the worst experiences we had with accommodation. On arrival we were welcomed by a non stop alarm going off with no one on the premises to help us. It was loadshedding at the moment as well (which was not a problem as we are all use to it by now) but there was no candles or lights to help light up the place while we waited for the power to come back on. The wood was soaking wet. There was no way you can make a fire with that kind of wood for the next month. We went to the garage to buy wood while we tried to get hold of ANY person from the agency we booked through to the owners of the place. Our attempts were fruitless. We attempted a shower while we waited for someone to come back to us. No warm water. That was the last straw. No light no fire and no warm water. Alarm going off. We were forced to look for alternative accommodation at this point as any normal person would have done. Was quite disappointed with the experience and we were not really compensated for this ordeal we went through by the owners or the agency. Shrugged it off as if it was nothing. Would not recommend.

Well kitted out unit and everything very clean. Great fireplace and electric blanket for the cold Dullstroom weather. Includes a patio with braai. Good WiFi. Centrally located a street up from the town centre.
