Mazeppa Bay Hotel
A beautiful spot, but the hotel is old and needs updating, especially the rooms. No wifi anywhere and no back up generator for loadshedding. No candles or any lamps provided. Food was good. Beautiful beach and lovely island. Great for swimming.

A splendid home from home with genuine customer service. Add to this the location in 'God's own land'. It's a combination hard to beat.

The location is great, and the rooms all have a lovely view of the sea, but are in desperate need of some TLC. We couldn't climb onto the island over the bridge because it was high tide.There was no WiFi at all, which in 2023 is surprising.We enjoyed the upstairs bar , and the food was super.What friendly and approachable African staff!

Mazeppa Bay Hotel
One of the best hotels on the Wild Coast.We stopped for a brief visit only, but we were made to feel very welcome.The tropical setting is fantastic, with the view over the beach, bay and island.We will be back!

Good food. Unfortunately road from Butterworth to Mazeppa a challenge- 4x4 recommended

Unbelievably bad road to get to the hotel, but all worth it. Maintenance is lacking on all the activities equipment never the less we played pool, snooker, tennis, beach bats and volleyball and hiking. So go prepared and take rackets etc. I would have liked to have my mountain bike. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was very good.
