The food was divine! Home cooked Sunday lunch - the best! The lamb shank and the oxtail is to die for. Value for money.I was a bit disappointed with the milktart.

A nice open air restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The service and quality of food is lacking. At one stage i ordered pap and kains . The kains had a terrible taste.ordered the same dish again and the kains tasted better but was not as tasty as on a previous occasion. Also takes a while before food is served Only see waiter serving occasionally. No supervisor manager has ever been seen to speak to customers and find out if they are satisfied. Surely had a few not so satisfying experiences. How on earth can a manager know if the customers are satisfied if he doesnt even come round and speak to customers. Other restaurant managers really have interaction with customers. Ordered tea. Waiter brough tea and then asked if we wanted milk. Surely not the correct way to serve a person. Other family members that ate at the restaurant also complained about the food. Was not up to standard.

I am sorry to leave a review like this.We ordered the schnitzel and rib combo with the Eisbein. The food was truly bad. The schnitzel dough fell off the chicken and did not taste nice. The ribs tasted like it was just cooked in water and basted. No flavour. The Eisbein was not crispy either. We expected more. Really disappointed

Received wrong pizza order after telling waitress we cannot eat certain ingredients on it. She went back to the kitchen to get it corrected. The manager came and gave his apologies. Gave is extra cheese on our order and Malva dessert on the house. Must say, it was some of the best pizza and dessert I have tasted in a long time.

Great service, lovely open air seating areas, both smoking and non smoking inside/outside. Food is fantastic, lovely big portions. The waiters are nice and very attentive.Haven’t been in town for months so this was a lovely meal for my first day back.
